we had 1280x1024 over 10 years ago, I'd suggest 1920X1200 24" at a starting point if for your main rig. btw 32fps which is probably your max, would fall to 5fps in a multi-player environment, the 9800GT is also a dx10 card so dx11and tessellation is impossible along with other advanced features in the current gen. If ya like it then more power to you, but your missing a ton.

This is why I always hesitate with thinking of AMDs eyefinity and single card solutions, and typically agreed with nvidias solution of a multi-graphic card solution. Also the GTX 460 2 win would be older than the 590 and it supported 3D surround vision on a single card.

I also had AMD Fusion on, which speeds up your CPU. All in all, steady FPS at 3870x1200. no AA ofcourse.

No, ATi doesn't lack interest in physics. Nvidia pays gamedevs alot to use their tech.

You were wrong about it's Max 2D Surround resolution being 4800x900. There are plenty of Youtube vids of GTX 590's running in 3 monitor 2D surround far above 4800x900. You should post a retraction/correction vid as quickly as possible... if you haven't already. Thanks.

You stated that the Max 2D Surround Resolution is: 4800x900. I believe that's WRONG!!! NVidia states that... NVidia's Max 2D Surround Resolution is: 7680x1600 (2560x1600 per monitor). NVidia's Max 3D Surround Resolution is: 5760x1080 (1920x1080 per display). I can only assume that NVidia's Maximum Surround Resolution are the GTX 590's parameters.
