The gibson les paul special '90 has normally 2 P100 pickups, i think.

Wich P90 did you installed in this gibson ?

Also, is there specific reason why bought a '90 special and not a VOS or '70 reissue special ?

Yes I bought with 2 P100 and then I installed 2 gibson P90

No, there's no particular reason, i just tried this one an I liked.

No, the guitar is '90 and amp is a '65 reissue, but the difference is made by the speaker... it has a really great tone
