I know why the 1-Up didn't appear in 2-1. There's an invisible 1-Up in Stage 1 of each World. For Worlds 2 thru 8, the 1-Up only appears if you grab all the coins in Stage 3 of the previous World (without dying in that Stage, I think), or take a warp zone.

...This was three years ago; cut the me from back then some slack. XD I ended up hearing about that some time later.

Though it does make me wonder if the invisible 1Up in 1-1 can be stopped from appearing if you complete 8-4, and start the second quest from World 1 (instead of skipping ahead), and didn't get all the coins in 8-3.

Well I will eventually LPMY several Mario games. SMB1~3, of course. SMB2j. Super Mario Land 1 and 2. Super Mario World 1 and 2. Super Mario Frustration, eventually. And definitely, DEFINITELY Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars.

Maybe even some (other...xD) hacks, if the random need arises.

When you say hacks do you mean cheat codes or people made mario hacks?

Also I never even realised you said frustration that is going to be incredibly painful to watch...yay!

Yes, I only refer to things like Super Mario Forever/Frustration as hacks, not mere usage of GameGenie. Although I'd love to see someone make a hack of SMB1 where the only change is the STAGEO effect XD. I'd get it. >.>; Totally.

And yes. XD Eventually I will get to Frustration. Once I can do screen capture. So you can see the Save/Load State abuse live. xD

Can't/won't promise I'll actually get anywhere, but I'll damn well make an honest effort.

There's an extra life trick in SMB2j? O_O? No way!

The trick with the koopa in the brick box at the start. Maybe it doesn't work in SMB2j because it has slightly different physics to the SNES version but I'm not sure.
