I remember my papa teaching me and my siblings this little song way, way back in the 1950s. It was appropriate for a French-Canadian family living in southern New England to learn this kind of sweet music.

Papa would play his guitar and try to get me and my 11 siblings to sing harmony and melody. I remember Papa would sing this a little faster...with a swing and sway kind of beat.
