Damn. Only the $524.96 version has masking from what I've gathered from the main site. The regular and platinum ones don't. My parent's are so not going to agree to get me that version even if I AM taking a class. *sigh* And that's the main reason why I want it...other than WMM being a pain. Oh well. Guess I'll have to sacrifice that feature. T-T

well you don't need to load the mask in every clips, you can just copy the masked clips, then highlight other clips, right click and choose "paste attribute event",you can see other clips have the same mask. Anyway, GJ, i never knew we can save the mask O.o 5/5

platinum... hm maybe not. It must be just Sony Vegas 6. The Version wich includes masking cost about 299€ so if urs was way cheaper you maybe cannot use masking

People I had the same problem the button to enable masking is not on the free trial, Thats why I got the full version.

i now can mask cause i downloaded the sony vegas 7 trial but when i mask out the first frame in the time line and then when i try to start the second frame in the timeline for some reason it stays the same as the first frame and i basically have to skip a frame and it makes the masking look very bad. Do you know how to fix this?

I don't get why the fuck so much people have the problem that there is no button for masking. Sorry but I don't know why it isn't there, for me it was there everytime so I can'T tell why it isn't there 'cause I never had this problem

How do you drag the shape over on the clip itself? Is all I cant get? Can you please tell me, reply please.

You have to rightclick on the shape and then select path (for just one shape) or select all (for all shapes) then make sure ur normal arow is enabled not anchorpoint ad or something like that. Then just click on an anchorpoint, hold the mouse and drag it where you want it
