  • Just got the bayonet :)

  • Quonqer,

Yes, the bayonet is affixed to the right side in the conventional method of the period.

After each shot the blade vibrated for about half a second.

  • did the bayonet really go sideways like that

  • I just bought a bayonet for this rifle, now im wondering how much the rifle cost? lol, probally alot, thanks great video!

  • any suggestion how infantry fought with those guns

  • That's a fancy looking bayonet.

  • Great video

  • Awesome old rifle =)

  • Thank you MauserKar98K,

We intend to add Fusilier M/60 and Jager M/65, plus M/65 Beck conversion - the ultimate military Dreyse.

Still on the needle ignition theme, adding Mle. 1866 Chassepot Cavalry carbine and Italian M.67 Carcano at a future date.

Mle. 1866 fusil recoil is quite punishing bench rested or prone, Cavalry carbine is even more so.

Fixed bayonet Mle. 1866 fusil altered point of impact, Dreyse M/41 and M/62 were regulated with bayonet fixed.
