Labels are for folks who are insecure and the only way they can feel good about themselves is to either be able to label others as such and or degrade them. I think it becomes easy for a lot of TG folks (like myself ) is to become self concious about male like habits (ie watching football) but in reality that is just society's attempt to label.
the problem with labels is that no one even sees them exactly the same way--no one sees any one word the exact same way--a label isn't so much a measure of what someone is but what they "aren't"--and hence why if you don't conform to a label you stick out. . .but if you DO conform to a label you are unnoticeable (unless you conform to the labels to such an extent its untypical, and then once again you are noticeable. . .)
Yes I see many women multitasking on the way to work driving appling lipstick. puttng on blush, mascara, and finally writing her name and address to the owner of the car ran she just ran into LOL.
Oh and yeah and the focus thing...does that have anything to do with the fact that in multi-tasking a female brain functions better throughout all the tasks while the male brain supposedly gets sidetracked and loses focus on all the tasks? Or is that just folklore to you? lol
The only standards & definitions that matter are yours. Cliches & stereotypes are arbitrary - what's butch/what's fem... We all know who we are (even if it takes us a way too long to consciously recognize it), I'm just realizing my views on this are way too complicated for a comment box. So I'll try the cliffs notes version. Know who you are, accept & respect yourself - and if some others can't do that too, it's their loss. But should not be your problem.
Jen you are as intelligent as you are beautiful. Your words have alot of meaning. And they speak the truth. It's all about how you feel. It's not what you have between your legs. It's about your heart. And your mind. :) You know who this is too..Cuteorlguy29 :)
@DigigirlAshley honey, society difines a person in their own way. I just decided to transition a few weeks ago, and I have gotten nothing but hell from men. women think about things differently. it's all about how a person percieves things. if you offer some kind of advice, or even objection, but you do it correctly, it will be taken well. and that is true with any human being. people need to just learn to be respectful of others. No judgement
you are a beautiful woman.

Oh, you are evil to the core. You lied to me and said you didn't have a login here. Bad bad bad!

I would say, how you feel makes you a woman, how you present yourself, defines you in society and the culture in which we live.
