So you went from nice and slim to skinny to nice and slim back to skinny...Why do people always think it's the extreme diet that makes them so much healthier..It doesn't matter if you are a meat-eater, vegan or vegetarian. If you eat junk food you will be unhealthy - if you go from one extreme to the other of course you will see changes.Has nothing to do with the food being cooked. It more veg and less junk (even if it's home made) and you will be slim and healthy.

@Zorra31P - Non-vegan foods include more than meat and dairy. Honey and other products -- essentially anything that is an animal product is non-vegan. Foods that are processed in such a way that use animal products to make them are not part of a vegan diet either.

@felicianomiko I totally agreed with you,I tried eat vegan before watching this vid few years ago and what I got was,I look pale and feel weak no energy.So now i changed my habit,I eating beef (most of the time grils beef or steak) for protein and raw salad and fruits,I avoid to eat rice or anything contain high carbohydrates,so I eat more on ryes bread but not so much.I workout like brazilian body sculpting,cardio boxer and some exercise with dumbbell. I now look toner, better and feel healthy.

The Diaz brothers are often stated as vegetarians,but they eat fish.Or they did last year.Their trainer Ceasar Gracie said so in an interview last yeaer in Bostos.

Hate to break it to you, but the advancement of tests actually outgrew the steroids people use. UFC fighters aren't rich people, most of them make like 20k per fight and they have 2 fights a year if they are lucky. Do you think they have cash to buy roids that were made to not show up on the tests? Do you know what the cost of that would be?
P30X or any others video that must be bought are useless... just going 100% raw vegan gets you the result you want... and a little exercise at home.. any simple exercise.
@thugricanz I can assure you p90x is not useless. Watch some other videos and you will see the rediculous changes that people have made because of p90x. Also all bodies are different so they react differently to exercise and food. Obviously your vegan diet and a few workouts are enough for your body so good for you.
@thugricanz and also "a little exercise" "any simple exercise" really isn't going to work your whole body. You might look fine but the muscles that you miss in your "any simple exercise" will most likely be weak.
I think this is great and inspirational. Everyone is entitled to there own opinions but if this works for you that's awesome. I have a similar situation to yours. I did P90x for 40 days and followed the diet plan to a t. Lost 10 lbs and got awesome results. Then I injured my leg. Was out if commission for 3 months now im back at it and was considering a vegan diet. Ill give it a shot, if its not for me then at least I can say I tried! Keep up the awesome work!

@RenataRath Dr. Campbell is being shunned by most of the scientific community for dr'ing results. I'll go so far as to make you a bet. $1000 USD says that if you continue to workout however you like but switch to a diet that is all meat and veg with less than 1 serving of fruit per day, no grains, no dairy, no legumes and lots of fat you actually put on more muscle and lose more bodyfat. This is what science actually says. Skip the paperback and go to pubmed.
@RenataRath1983 1 - If you don't know enough about a health issue to debate it you shouldn't be eating it. 2 - Dr. Brian Clement doesn't exist. He's never published in a peer-reviewed (read: scientific) journal and has never received a PhD or MD from an ACCREDITED College or University. You'll note on his (EXPENSIVE) retreat website they give his title but not where he studied. It was a web institute. @RenataRath1983 Going from the SAD to ANY diet will cause you to lose weight. It's incredibly easy simply because the SAD is so bad. The fact is that macrobiotic vegan, raw food etc....are incredibly unhealthy. Long-term you will end up insulin resistant, leptin resistant, B12 and zinc deficient, protein deficient etc... you are promoting something you don't understand and which is unhealthy for you and everyone else.

I use to think like you a few years ago and I use to eat a lot of meat (dead bodies) , Eggs from chicken, Milk(infested with hormones, antibiotics). I was getting the flu at least twice a year then I dropped all the junk and went Vegan. My blood results got back to normal ( I was always low in iron) Cellulite DISAPPERED, SKIN GOT TIGHTER, VERY RARELY GET SICK and have so much energy. :)

Also I'm trying to eat everything in the most fresh and unprocessed form. I have been growing my own greens and sprouts and they are the greatest source of protein you can possibly find! The biggest and strongest animals get all the protein they need from grasses.

Also, which of these grains, greens, sprouts etc... have large amount of Lysine and Tryptophan. How about Lucine, IsoLucine, Valine etc... Also, please comment on the bio-availability of all of the above from plant vs. animal sources. Lastly, you can get N*6 from nuts and seeds but from where do you get the balancing N*3? Don't say Flax because it aint so.

Congratulations on adopting a vegan diet and getting through P90x. Just be aware though with the raw foods your could be eating a very large percentage of calories from fat. It may not effect your waistline like a burger, but it can lead to other health issues longterm. Please analyze a weeks worth of meals online at fitday or similar calorie analyzing sites.
I luv the fact that the girl in the video finally developed some shoulders. Lack of shoulders make women look much, much older, not to mention the fact that a lack of defined shoulders aren't sexy on either men or women. Too many women focus on just losing enough weight to have space between their legs while they're standing w/their legs closed. Though that's sexy & 6pks are definitely a bonus on women or men, can't get around the shoulders by being leggy, or hoping tits steal all the attention!
you look on day ONE the way most would hope to look by day NINETY. it is my opinion you have a healthy obsession with a specific body type. maybe you could learn to love yourself in any size.
You look great before and you look great after, won't be going vegan anytime soon but I think the most important thing you've shown is how much your body needs natural plants instead of over processed junk that is all over the shelves. Lately I've been trying to use fresh ingredients as much as I can and decided to avoid pre made meals that you microwave. Good luck in your future workouts!
Good work Renata. Remember that fitness takes some years to really develop. It took Freelee lots of fruit, sleep and running races to get down to sub 20 for 5k.
Lots of people take short cuts with drugs and starvation but that only gives short term results and creates adrenal issues in the long run = fat and hating life.
This is exactly what happens to me when I fall off the raw lifestyle!!!! My cheeks expand from water weight, I break out, carry waterweight, and just feel sick all the time!! Thanks for sharing your story and being such an inspiration and motivation to others!!! :) *hugs!!!* Feeling great changes your whole life. There's no better way to get there than a lifestyle consisting of mostly raw fruits and vegetables.
I know woman tend to be a bit more body/self conscious and I'm sensitive to that, but I don't see a true "transformation"... you had a really great figure from beginning to end.

Lunch : Creamy cashew garlic raw mushrooms (I will need to give you the recipe) and 2 slices Raw Vegan Strawberry Cheese cake. Mid Afternoon: Raw Vegan Protein Shake from Sun Warrior (Vanilla Flavor)
Dinner: Guacamole (Avocado, onion, garlic, lime juice, capsicum, pink mineral salt and pepper all processed together) with Raw vegan crackers or normal corn chips. Desert: Bananas ice cream ;-)

I think this is great and inspirational. Everyone is entitled to there own opinions but if this works for you that's awesome. I have a similar situation to yours. I did P90x for 40 days and followed the diet plan to a t. Lost 10 lbs and got awesome results. Then I injured my leg. Was out if commission for 3 months now im back at it and was considering a vegan diet. Ill give it a shot, if its not for me then at least I can say I tried! Keep up the awesome work!

I'll go so far as to make you a bet. $1000 USD says that if you continue to workout however you like but switch to a diet that is all meat and veg with less than 1 serving of fruit per day, no grains, no dairy, no legumes and lots of fat you actually put on more muscle and lose more bodyfat. The fact is that macrobiotic vegan, raw food etc....are incredibly unhealthy. Long-term you will end up insulin resistant, leptin resistant, B12 and zinc deficient, protein deficient etc... you are promoting something you don't understand and which is unhealthy for you and everyone else.

I use to think like you a few years ago and I use to eat a lot of meat (dead bodies) , Eggs from chicken, Milk(infested with hormones, antibiotics). I was getting the flu at least twice a year then I dropped all the junk and went Vegan. My blood results got back to normal ( I was always low in iron) Cellulite DISAPPERED, SKIN GOT TIGHTER, VERY RARELY GET SICK and have so much energy. :)

Congratulations on adopting a vegan diet and getting through P90x. Just be aware though with the raw foods your could be eating a very large percentage of calories from fat. It may not effect your waistline like a burger, but it can lead to other health issues longterm. Please analyze a weeks worth of meals online at fitday or similar calorie analyzing sites.

Lack of shoulders make women look much, much older, not to mention the fact that a lack of defined shoulders aren't sexy on either men or women. Too many women focus on just losing enough weight to have space between their legs while they're standing w/their legs closed. Though that's sexy & 6pks are definitely a bonus on women or men, can't get around the shoulders by being leggy, or hoping tits steal all the attention!

You look great before and you look great after, won't be going vegan anytime soon but I think the most important thing you've shown is how much your body needs natural plants instead of over processed junk that is all over the shelves. Lately I've been trying to use fresh ingredients as much as I can and decided to avoid pre made meals that you microwave. Good luck in your future workouts!

Good work Renata. Remember that fitness takes some years to really develop. It took Freelee lots of fruit, sleep and running races to get down to sub 20 for 5k.
Lots of people take short cuts with drugs and starvation but that only gives short term results and creates adrenal issues in the long run = fat and hating life.
Keep on charg'n and keep on carb'n. :)

This is exactly what happens to me when I fall off the raw lifestyle!!!! My cheeks expand from water weight, I break out, carry waterweight, and just feel sick all the time!! Thanks for sharing your story and being such an inspiration and motivation to others!!! :) *hugs!!!* Feeling great changes your whole life. There's no better way to get there than a lifestyle consisting of mostly raw fruits and vegetables.

@charleslindsaymusic You obviously are blind and sexist too. She was not FAT. but you can clearly see the cellulite and extra junk around the trunk. I know many woman would die for her before figure, but that does not make it ok. SHe is much more toned and the abs are not having that bulk and you can see her curves clearly

Lunch : Creamy cashew garlic raw mushrooms (I will need to give you the recipe) and 2 slices Raw Vegan Strawberry Cheese cake. Mid Afternoon: Raw Vegan Protein Shake from Sun Warrior (Vanilla Flavor)
Dinner: Guacamole (Avocado, onion, garlic, lime juice, capsicum, pink mineral salt and pepper all processed together) with Raw vegan crackers or normal corn chips. Desert: Bananas ice cream ;-)
