  • I want it!!! :D

  • very nice! BUT - does this rather fine coupling have the mechanical strength to keep a long rake of vehicles together? Seems a bit 'fragile', although as said, it's very nice and acurate being an actual 'buckeye'

  • @colliecandle

It certainly works with a rake of 6 Bulleids which is as long as my platforms will accomodate but i cannot see why it shouldn't work with more

    John

  • plese tell me how to make one of these inbox me plese!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @MrJezza31 Full instructions are contained on the website, rrcirkits, type "uncoupling" in the search box. The current limiting circuit is slightly different but the princple is the dame....john

  • how much did it cost to make & how many have you made and fitted?

  • @silverfox2358

I have only made three, they cost only a few pounds in componants but quite a lot of time and patience!

    john

  • Good idea, it was only a matter of time before this was invented!

    :-)

  • i did not know someone already did this, i wanted to invent it.

  • e as functions, has gears?

  • thers no track but verry cool idear

  • that's awesome. how about using small motors and placing them in the truck as traction motors? would free up space inside of the shell

  • I can't say better than any of the others. That is the most fab-tastic thing I've ever seen for a model railway. You clever bu**er.

  • That is soo awsome i need that in every single car!! haha I can see me switchin in the yard with out worring about stupid magnetic couplers and the hit and miss of those 5*****!

  • That is completely amazing! You need to market those devices, or at least the plans...

Ready to install units would revolutionize the HO scale market!

  • could you possibly post a video of you making one of these units and fully explaining it? because i think it would be more than helpful to any dcc railway modeller.

  • HI Full instructions are contained on the website, rrcirkits, type "uncoupling" in the search box. The current limiting circuit is slightly different but the princple is the dame....john

  • how much are those i want some for my layout

  • hi I'm afraid its a scratch built device using a combiation of memory wire and a kadee coupler. The memory wire is activated by an output from the dcc decoder....John

  • thats a good peice of kit

  • Great vid mate love to find out more

  • Thats nuts man!

  • That's how it's done!

  • That is sweet... who makes it?
