I think that is alright to be proud of your skin color, ethnicity, culture and so on. There's absolutley nothing wrong with it. However, I think that there is a fine line that divides pride into racism, that when crossed, can lead into something terrible which results in hatred of others. I think any kind of race pride is a cop out. It means that you as an individual don't have to do anything. You can just feel good about things other people did, and then go off and tattoo yourself and headbang to bad music while getting drunk.

@iwillbejd The slave trade was started by Arabs in modern day Iraq, It was industrialised by the Dutch, Dominated by the Americans and ended by the British, to blame the British for the slave trade is quite the injustice though we do acknowledge our part and have apologised.
As for Colonialism, it was neither good nor bad, it had pro's and con's, we brought civilization, order and technology in exchange for wealth and power, many embraced colonialism such as Hong Kong, most of India, Canada etc.

i guess it's to knock off the confusion of white pride being associated with white supremacy and white nationalism. however, i understand the difference between someone who's happy being white and some being belligerent to other races. i support white pride day, as an asian. in all fairness they should have one. although, re-education might cost a little money.

um, sorry to break it to you, but if you didn't just get off the plane from the Vaterland, your white race is probably already tainted. Actually it was tainted when the 'white race' decided to colonize the rest of the world. Guess they weren't thinking of preserving the race when they were raping the women of the lands they were 'discovering'

It's true that nobody is 100% any race. However, the White race of today is still White enough to exist as a separate entity.
Personally, I have the 90% rule. If you're at least 90% White, then you're an Aryan and can be a White Nationalist.

The fact of the matter is that race and culture are closely linked. There is certainly nothing wrong with anyone who appreciates his or her own race. And there is surely a virtue in defending it against attack. Look beyond your programing in school and see the facts. Diversity is not our greatest strength.

Anthropologists determine race through bone structure. Skin color changes depending on the environment, so it's not an important factor.
Most biologists accept that racial DNA plays a role in cognitive abilities, so I'd say race is about mentality as well as appearance.

People probably consider him Black because he has dark skin. And like I said before, race isn't determined by skin.
Humans are highly intelligent animals, but we're still animals. So it makes sense to accept the different breeds of human the same way we accept the different breeds of dog, cat, ect.

Here's a start.
Skin tone, bone structure, intelligence, rate of disease and most all human variations are depended on the environment.
Humans are not isolated enough and tend to breed freely, so much so, that scientist question the validity of the concept of human races.

Breaking this down for you is gonna be hard, so I'll try not to use too many big words.
The human variations that you mentioned are all depended on the environment, right? The biggest variations are between continents, that is Europe, Africa, and Asia.
So, the people we call 'White' or 'Black' or 'Yellow' have very different genetics due to the environments.

Scientists question race about as much as they question evolution.
The truth is different bone structure, immunity to disease, and cognitive abilities do prove race. Doctors consider race before operating, anthropologists classify people by race whenever they find new bones.
Pretending there's an actual debate going on regarding the existence of race is just as stupid as pretending there's an actual debate going on over creationalism.

The biggest variations are not between continents. I suggest taking a class on biomes.
America contains at least seven biomes within it's boundaries. So does Asia.
Your reading comprehension needs a little work also. I said there is no scientific evidence of human breeds. You have not given any references yet. I didn't give my views on the existence of race. And to deny the debate is just ignorant.

The reason I was talking about human breeds is because rhii07 said there was only one human race and I explained that humans are a species with different races, the same way the dog species has different breeds.
I really don't wanna get into semantics. Whatever you wanna call it, race/breed exists.

Yes, there are genetic variations within continents, but they aren't as big. There's noticeable difference between Whites and Blacks, but not really between White Nordics and White Latins.

race is not the same as breed. That misconception comes from the error in thinking that humans can be divided into subspecies.
To classify as a subspecies there as to be long periods of isolation. Because Humans are migratory animals with indiscriminate breeding practices, we haven't given ourselves the chance to create distinct subspecies
Again, any development of distinct subspecies was ruined by European colonization

Dog breeds are artificially created by humans. We isolate them and don't allow them to interbreed lest they lose their title of 'purebred'.
If you want to compare us to dogs, 21st century human beings are mongrels at best. Especially anyone born in America
