@ryuzaky96 Whether the producer chooses to use FX is completely irrelevant to the results from a DAW. Do some research, Pro Tools is an industry standard for a reason. Not being horrible, just saying :) Peace
Sorry bro I don't wanna disrespect u...but some people say to me that FL studio is not good as protools in terms of quality, but I don't believe it...
@ryuzaky96 It's cool. Everyone is entitled to their opinion but if you take your music to the next level you may realise that what people are telling you about Pro Tools being better than FL studio is correct..... Respect where respect is due :) Peace
hey can someon help me out? i just bought a mac and am trying to make a decision between logic pro or pro tools...i use to have FL studio. I make hip-hop, R&B, techno...etc im more of a making everything from scratch. no sampling needed. i love to alter sounds, discovering weird shit lol which would be better?
@landerssd Either or is fine. It depends on which you'd rather spend your money on. At the end, asking this FL vs Reason or Pro Tools vs Logic will be like asking is there a god or not a god. It's highly arguable and it's based on use. I may use it in one way, and you another. I've used all, I still go back to FL. For vocals I go with Pro Tools. The easy of use in FL is much better than all of these to me. But, Logic vs Pro Tools. I'd go with Pro Tools because it's ubiquitous
@landerssd Dude U can'y go wrong. 1st I had logic. and I learned how to make beats on it which took some time to get it, but now I'm on pro tools. It's tougher for me, but I like it tho
PLEASE SOMEBODY HELP...u kno how on fl studio they hav the kicks going from high to low on ur keyboard...how do u get that to happen in protools...i dont want to just use 1 pitch of a kick
@415getActive I have no idea how to edit Xpand! instruments, but you could try actually recording the kick pattern as an audio file and then pitching it up or down. Pro Tools is great for mixing but not good at all for MIDI. I recommend that you use an external sequencer like an MPC or Reason ReWired for that.
@BeatPerfection I wouldnt say its harder but just a diff work flow. it can be ezer once u get to know it. it has (to me) better features and work flow on it like quantize during recording which it still dosent have! but ya its not harder just a diff work flow.
I just came across Pro Tools 8 and I have a PC and it will not install the creative Collection, thats where the beats and everything at rite? Hit my inbox up if anyone can help.. I appreciate it
@MrPrince0111 you gotta make "the beats" yourself with the virtual instruments that come with pro tools. There are three PT cd's, one with a training video, one with some preset loops and one for pro tools itself and all the effects and virtual instruments. Install that one.
Hey you know what , i just talked to my brother and he said your right ! Pro tools is a DAW ! and listen.. im kinda new to all this and still learning it all ! my brother been in it since 93 so whatever he say i usually believe cause he know more about it than i do ...so Hatz off too ya bro !
is it true you can only use Pro Tools on a D.A.W. ? or can i use it on my Laptop aswell? ..BTW Nice beat bro ! and its your first? wow ! i gotta hear more of your work ! i only have my BS beats on hear cause im tryna build a website for my Real ish lol
@Skyzdalimit20 DAW means Digital Audio Workstation. Pro Tools IS a DAW, therefore you can't use it ON a DAW. I think you mean a Desktop Computer, and yes, you can use on any kind of computer (Windows, Mac, Laptop, Desktop, etc.) that meets the system requirements and has a USB port to connect the interface. Hahah I'm trying to build a website too! good luck!
@BeatPerfection well yeah i know what it stanz for haha but from what i remember a D.A.W. is what they use in a real studio ! thought it was a type of computer that you only use for music an such ! no internet bull ish lol Pro tools ,logic Pro ,Reason , Fruity loops , Cake Walk are all just Sequencers ! My brother Built his one DAW for reason and others ! And if you want , go to WIX.com and build a site for free if building your one site is to much ! idk just a suggestion !
@rocksolid76 hi "sir", why are you so offended? plus, what kind of language are you talking about? Don't upload if you think your work is untouchable or can't be criticized. I find it more offensive of you to spell your whole message with capital letters, than of me to inform you that I don't agree with your concept of "hip hop", and that your tutorial is misleading in such way. If you don't know the genre you're talking about, how am I supposed to believe all the "technical" things you say...
@rocksolid76 ... about it?? I did in fact say your tutorial was good, which I think is a way of appreciating your hard work and thoughts. With that being said, I think you should be open to public criticism, or simply remove the option to comment on your videos. Youtube is a free site in which every user is allowed to give positive or negative feedback on the videos he watches. If you knew you were right about what you talk about you would counter my argument instead of whining about criticism.
Like I thought, not BeatPerfection yet! but it is pretty good, but I think the Sub Bass is lil to low or weak. Also You said BMC song lacks Mixing well your lacks mastering. The synth is too lound! anyways how long have you been making music?
@BKMHMusicProductions I'm not gonna master a beat to upload it to youtube, do you master your beats??? NO. What speakers are you using to listen to this? I think the sub bass is pretty loud on my Rokit 6s. My song lacks mixing too, I agree, and it's not BeatPerfection, only Dre & Premier are Beat Perfection, but I do the best I can. Thanks for your opinion. Peace
@Nostewitsch I put a compressor and limiter on the stereo buss, which is NOT mastering. Mastering can really only be done well with high-end gear, which I don't have, and I'm not gonna pay a matering engineer to work on a beat I'm only uploading to youtube.
@Nostewitsch I know what mastering is.. I just say you could add some punch, know what I mean, use smack or something.. You don´t need expensive gear to make this a bit better.
It is the same exact software just different hardware compatibility. Songs are tranferable between all versions of pro tools (le, m-powered, hd). Sick beat btw.
hey man...nice thang out there...i just wonder can anybody tell me...can i click on notes in piano roll with my mouse just like in ruity loops or i gave to got a MIDI keyboard?

Is not true that protools has better results. The quality of this beat suck....where the heck are effects?? reverbs, EQ?
The beat is good, but there are not effects
