Wow that was painful to watch. This is how the true sonny and brenda love story was, not this crap we saw at the last return. I mean I was glad to have Vanessa back and Maurice's acting was better than it had been in a long, long time but the storylines were so bogus. They butchered them at the end. I wish they could have their happy ending...

God, I love them so much. They are by far the sexiest soap couple of all time. I detested Lily. And I'm ashamed to admit I did a little happy dance when she went blew up. *Hangs head in shame.* Thanks for posting this. These clips are a great way for fans, and people who are new to S&B, to experience their love story.

I recently jumped in SnB train and NOW i know how much they love each other.

She loved him so much that she offered to be his mistress and he loved her so much that he refused because it's unfair to her.

God they're growing on me everytime i watch a new scene of them.

you know I think Brenda is the only woman Sonny ever really loved. Yes, in this scene she threw herself at him like all women do, but Sonny wanted to be with her just as bad. Not like all the other women. Brenda was different always.

OOOPS...busted. Anyway, your comments in the description box were right on point. Sonny consistently showed his love for Brenda by not allowing her to be a part of his underworld life. On the other hand, Brenda didn't CARE that he was a mob boss...she wanted him regardless.

@shanti3310 Not yet. Sonny holds on a little more to the marriage then finally tells Brenda he is leaving Lily for her and then Lily tells him she is prego before he can dump her. This all leaads to the scene where Sonny leaves Brenda standing in the rain in front of Kelly's scene. I think this was 95 or 96. Right before Clink-boom.

@deanwinchestergirl01 That was how the day ended. The next scene was the next morning I think with Lily remembering Sonny holding Brenda and Sonny being distant and awkward with Lily. I don't have these scenes but the Sonny and Brenda Forum might.

As a true blue Brenda fan this scene still breaks my heart. Vanessa is so good with bringing emotion to the character and making you feel what she feels. That is why she is Brenda Barrett and they could never successfully recast the role.
