When grappling is involved; striking becomes significantly harder to do as when you strike you can no longer defend leverage from someone grabbing you. Manhoef at 2:21 was just defending the takedown, no power in punches from that position too.

I am more of an old school jujitsu person myself. Judo can work im just not into alot of the techniques i think bjj does the same thing but makes it easier and the boxer was too resiliant he should of just came right in for the kill. Basicallly bjj is judo modified. Its like extreem judo without fancy throws.

I myself prefer to take it on the ground. I win most of my fights through choking and armbars(Like in this video), the throws i use are sacrifice throws like Tomoe Nage, They dont require that much strength. If you are not comfy with Judo its just ur own preference.
