  • Im in australia and if you ask for a snake bite you get a shot cocktail

  • @santi781 its that a flatliner?

  • @ohialixela am on about the european version

  • CIDER + LAGER

  • in swiss a snake bite is a beer with a little grenadin sirup in there....

    thats really good

  • if you order a snakebite in Canada it will be a shooter consisting of tequila ,jack daniels and tobasco droplets.

think of it as a praire fire with kick.

  • In the UK a snakebite is the same as the European version you describe, but with blackcurrant cordial.

  • flickr 3:07. you might want to watch the whole video before commenting....

  • In England a Snakebite is Lager, Cider and Blackcurrant Cordial

Also have a drink called a 'Snakebite Venom' which is the same as above but just with a shot of vodka in it.

Snakebite is normally known just as a drink to get you drunk easily, most bars wont serve you it where I am from

  • where i was from when you ordered a snake bite, theyd give you a shot of yukon jack with a dash of lime juice, (southern PA)

  • although I cant say this is a very popular drink here in Montreal, the only time a snake bite was ever served to me was half a pint cider, half a pint lager with a shot of blackcurrant liquor drawing an S into the head... pretty!

  • what cider should i use ?

  • the girl is absolutely gorgeous

  • im making a list of my own drinks i've made up in my head. I was wondering how many oz of liquor you can get into an oz glass, and 16oz glass if they are filled with ice. thanks for your time.

  • with the European snake bite i know people who add jucie in to it

  • grenadine in my case ;)

  • not very helpful if you get bitten by a snake...

  • drink the english version

    its like the european one

first add around 1 cm of blackcurrent cordial

then alf pint of a strong lager dwn side of glass

then top the rest off with strongbow

its gorjus an it doesnt taste alcoholic for sum reason tastes like a normal fizzy drink lol

  • bnacroft12 - That drink you described is called Deisel, or a pint of Deisel. Good though isn't it.

  • no this is actually snakebite in england im afraid its basically wat the guy on the video did onli we add blackcurrent cordial for more flavour

  • Its all about the london snake bite :

Half pint of fosters, half pint of Strongbow and some Blackcurrant cordial! Perfection!

  • i'm thirsty now..

  • LMAO !!!

"as you can see im not getting any head"

    nice job mate

  • Here in Texas, every snakebite I've had is Guiness layered over Ace cider. My friend who has been to Australia says down there they make it with cider and Killians, and then draw an 'S' in the foam with razz or chambord. I prefer the later, and I encourage you all to try it, its great

  • Theres actually variations on the european snakebite too, most of the united kingdom also add blackcurrent cordial to the cider and beer. Never knew how different the american one was though, wow!

  • yeah thats right enough about the dash blackcurrent... (in the Uk anyway!) thanks fot the lesson!

  • Snakebite with blackcurrent cordial is known as "Diesel" or "Snakebite and Black"

Theres a bar i used to go to that would add a shot of JD to the mix as well. It was a manly drink.

  • well thats wat u probably call it but its just called snakebite in england

  • I am from england and most places round my area just consider a snakebite half lager, half cider.

  • where abouts u live?

some places round here call it Diesel too but most call it snakebite

  • im from england and we call a snakebite half a cider (usually strongbow in a pub) half a lager and some blackcurrent cordial!

  • that's a snakebite and blak...

  • Thanks for the comment! Bring back some Korean drink recipes and I'll feature them on the show!

  • Anthony,

My friend and I are spending this year teaching in Korea. We are having a great time, but watching your videos makes us homesick for the bars in LA. There is only so much soju we can tolerate. Nice program!
