@JKelsy, Well ya beat me,only 49 for me.Grew up in Wanamassa near the lake.It was typical N.J. not going all the way to BH back when it would have been cheaper!

Just like Rt.18,do it in segment's and let the cost rise in between. *sigh*

You would have loved it there back in the late 60's up,you never knew what you'd see.CNJ even used switcher's in off hours,PC was usually ugly black E's after that it got interesting and very colorful,like the ex GN cars in a mix and once in a great while a NJT U34CH. If they had just run the catenary to Bay Head...

@ziggster59 My home has been near the tracks for 70 years so I have seen everything come by! They were thinking about running cat to Bay Head but not now! Thanks for the comment

They started running the new cars from Long Branch to Bay Head, they have been running them from Long Branch north for sometime. Thanks for the comment!
