@ginjaninja1988 I noticed when Oleg drew he racked a round in. I like the idea how they shoot from the hip in systema but I don't like the holster.
Years ago I stopped using the shoulder holster after hearing about a couple of LEO firing early before they had the weapon cleared of the holster. Ouch!
If you have a modern gun, I would advise against condition 3 carry. Condition 3 was used in Israeli training when the IDF received a surplus of firearms from NATO. A "party mix." There was no 1 specific gun to standardize procedures around so they went with the safest, condition3 AKA "Israeli carry." There's a myriad of situations when your weak hand/arm will not be able to rack the slide.(defense, injured, pinned, restrained.) Let alone the speed of a holster presentation. (Search for IPSC .)
You Americans overemphasize quick draw as a compensation for lack of situation awareness. I Carry condition 3 daily, I do not have anybody after me and my risk is assessed to be low. I rather prevent ADs.
and he says, when ur back is to him, and ur goin to shoot him, turn around to the side, because his gun is pointed at your head, and while ur turning around cock the gun, and then aim and shoot
always have ur gun holster in that spot, cuz its the fastest to take out and shoot, and never look down at your holster to get your gun, always look at the target while u take ur gun out, to make sure he doesnt dissappear while ur looking down. The first shot doesnt matter, its to make him realize ur shooting at hime and make him squat down, which the rest of the shots you aim and its easier to shoot him... thats just from the beginning
@qaesar09 I can translate! I love being able to speak both languages. Its funny people make fun of me when I speak russian, but I see it as an advantage. :D

I love Systema and I study it.... But as for the position of the Pistol holster; well I don't fancy a pistol pointed and my crotch.

I agree with the second part of your statement. Saftey first and its up to the individual to make this decision based on comfort level/situation.

The reason I like Systema is because it expands into fire arms unlike other martial arts.
