Does anyone know where I can get the tab for this version? I wanna make my own arrangement with some of the riffs of this with the sax solo in the studio version.
@Primetime4549 a good basis for what Joel's is simply bringing the chords up an octave and playing the individual notes. Near the end he kinda goes nuts but you can work it by ear until it sounds right.
My favorite is the coverage of their time in Morocco. Ironically enough, they are originally from a small town south of Atlanta.....45 mins from where I live. If only they did more local "gigs".
@ccmusicfan1: It did and it has-tastes just changed, that's all. And this song was a Top Ten hit back in 2004, so they aren't hurting or lacking for attention, obviously.
I saw this on TV a few years ago. They keep that one line going for hrs lol and the band comes back and sings it with them. It was amazing! And i love the solo! :D
@tripps1997 "Better Now" is a 2004 song by the American alternative rock band Collective Soul, released on their 2004 album, Youth. It was written by singer/guitarist Ed Roland and producer Dexter Green.
The coda features a saxophone solo. In concert, this is replaced with a guitar solo. The radio edit version also includes a guitar solo. Also unusual for a rock song, the bass doesn't come in until the first chorus, and plays prominent alternating root / fifth quarter notes.
I saw them in Cincinnati and he played his Mirage through 4 Ac30's and again it was the best tone ever... What kind of Marshall cabs are those in this vid? They're huge...

Great music but lead singer needs to stop jumping around like an idioto. Just sing the songs in a more mature fashion and you'll be a great live show.
It's rock and roll... nothing wrong with a little jumping around! Judging by your post, were you shocked when Elvis or The Beatles wiggled their hips on TV?
I wasn't alive yet when Elvis debuted and I never saw the Beatles perform. I know there's nothing wrong with it, its just that lead singer doesn't look good doing it (some can dance, others can't). He looks best performing with guitar in hand.
J'ai cru entendre que cette chanson de CS était la chanson thème du Parti Conservateur lors de la dernière élection du Canada, et ça me déprime un peu...
I've watched this concert serveral times, in addition to buying the DVD and CD. This is a concert I will never get tired of. Love the mix with the orchestra. I can't wait until I get the chance to see them play live.
I saw them last night @ Crossroads in Kansas City and by far they were much better than Live..... and this tune was the best they played.... awesome show...

See a Collective Soul concert if you ever get the chance. They are AMAZING in concert. Ed Roland the lead singer is a fabulous showman. He may be 5'7" but he's a BIG BIG man with a BIG BIG presence.
I could be wrong, but that one guy with blond hair reminds me of that one drummer or singer from Alice in Chains; but don't quote me on that; I love this song I heard it on a special K (cereal) commercial; good song!
I've loved Collective Soul since I was six years old. I just recently got this DvD, and it's one of the best musical experiences i've ever seen. God, just so awesome.
so do i there pretty amazing in concert and i wonder how the kids reacted when they heard they were playing orchestra for a famous rock band in one of there biggest concerts ever. lol
