So the ranger class is basically the warrior class but faster and with fancy moves?

Is there any reason to use a bow in this game?

It is just like all the games before it, as a ranger i shoot maby 3 arrows, then its close combat the rest of the way.

The fact that you can not finish a fight in a fast way with the bow, but HAVE to use swords or knives, is the reason i NEVER play ranger in ANY game.

You ALWAYS end up in hand to hand, so just pick the dude that is best at it.

@TENGILL There are upgrades and special moves for the bow, as you've probably read and seen from this video, the poor guy playing here isn't all that proficient at this game. I've experimented with the bow combat in the demo, and granted it's a demo and I couldn't level it all that much, it still felt fluid and fun.

I've rarely seen a worse player in my life... your execution is extremely shoddy. I've gotten more proficient at playing this game in the 2 hours I played the demo, than you'll ever be.

What's with the 'non critical' blocking? Who does just block? Fail to execute on that vanish skill is laughable. You'd hope a videogame reviewer would be capable of delivering better gameplay than that after what I'm guessing must be more than 20 hours of playtime.

@SpinnerXOXO I agree completely. These gamespot reviewers absolutely suck at this game. Not learning comboes, using skills effectively, parrying. Instead their smashing the attack button pretty much. Combing a 3 attack chain with a magic skill and then parry and play smart = rewarding gameplay. These videos are straight A-grade trash played by 2 year old kids. And it's not "ranger". It's a FINESSE build. If you really want to classify your character use the destiny system!

@SpinnerXOXO He plays so horribley because when they advertise a game they dont want it to look easy as hell, just like when you watch FPS commentary before its released, they hardly aim down the gun but instead shoot from the hip, so it wont look as easy as it really is.

One of the problems I had with the demo was that the mini map didn't have and detail and just a slightly lighter grey area where your character can go. It makes you feel somewhat limited.
