As far as I can tell, the lady with the dog is blabbing sensitive information, the guy with the bow tie is a spy, while the shifty eyed sort in the corner is there to explain the folly of being a personable blabber mouth. So what is the lady blabbing about anyway?

This show is Nazi propaganda to warn people to shut the hell up because there could be spies around, in this case on the train. I don't know German well enough to translate it, but maybe someone else could. Anyone else out there want to help?

I don't want to translate the whole thing because most of it is just babbling about the dog who is afraid of the dark. Afterwards the "spy" asks the woman about the place she is heading to and about the industry there. She draws him a map and tells him what has changed since the beginning of the war. The other woman tells her to be aware that he could be a spy. But she says that the other guy in the corner is much more likely to be a spy than the gentleman next to her.

Could any of our viewers tell us what this story line was about? Obviously the woman was talking too much to the man, but whay was she discussing and who was the man talking to her?

the woman with dog talks with the man right to her. they talk about a weaponstation or something like this. the good looking woman say:"aw, he could be a spy". then the woman with dog say "the man is not a spy. maybe the guy in the corner is one."

at the end the guy in the corner was the oficer and the other guy was the spy. the woman with dog say finaly:"ah, now i have a more space".

to me its the same propaganda like usa do it with the torrorism and terrorsts.

The term "propaganda" might have had a different meaning in other countries. The German government in the bad old days had an office for "public enlightenment and propaganda" but I don't think an English-speaking government back then would use the word "propaganda" . It would have a negative tone to it.

@shakesbier1967 Ich finde es ein Skandal, daß ein Österreicher ein Putsch verüben kann, mit Toten auf Seiten der Polizei und 1932 dafür eingebürgert wird. 1933 in Deutschland an die Macht kommt und 1935-1938 Deutsche entrechtet und zu Staatenlose macht und ab 1942 versucht, alle die er (der Österreicher und bömischer Gefreiter, Adolf Hitler) habhaft werden kann, zu ermorden.

@opaaloys Es ist ein Skandal, dass diese von dir genannten Verdrehungen als offizielle Wahrheit angesehen werden dürfen. Wenn man die Kriegspropaganda der Alliierten 1:1 und Wort für Wort in die Geschichtsbücher übernommen hätte, würde einem der Unterschied wahrscheinlich nicht einmal auffallen. Dieses Video ist ein bedeutendes Zeitdokument. Ich kann mich noch an diese Serie "Die Miese und die Liese" erinnern. Während des Krieges wurde beim Kinobesuch diese Propagandaserie gezeigt. Nur dass die "Miese" eben von der Mira gespielt wurde. Sie sollte die Negative spielen, war aber beliebter. Deshalb wurde sie von Goebbels abgesetzt. Die "Liese" war die "vernünftige Volksgenossin". Eher herb, etwas zu vernünftig.
