yes while ten ten has more experience this does not mean that she is simply better then hinata. hinata more so trained than went on missions. so in a real battle it could be any1 fight. hinata could use a rotation on ten ten.. while ten ten jumped up hinata could already be onto her new jutsu. or ten ten could jump up and throw a couple bombs. ten ten never really fought hinata so her experience wouldnt count against her byakugan because she had never really fought against it.
@nikolle08 You may be right, but you can´t compare them by these missions since this is valid for the whole team. Hinata may be the strongest of the Kurenai Chunins, only Shino can compete with her IMO.

No. As much as I love Hinata, her father has secret jutsu's that only the main house learns and Hinata does not know all of them. Hinata has a chance but I believe its 50/50 that she could beat her father and against Neji, she has like a 35% chance or something. XD

There is no way of knowing if ANYONE would win against their clone. Can you outsmart yourself without being outsmart by your clone first? Again, it's not easy, but I'm not saying any of the Konoha 12 wouldn't have beaten their clone. It's just not easy.

Erm...correction...she ONLY trained with Neji for his Kaiten. She stopped training with Neji after the chunnin exams. Hinata trains with Neji while Neji also trains with Hiashi.

The second databook states that Tenten trains with her teammates and that they know her worth. Since when is Neji not her teammate? She didn't stop training with him. Tenten and Hinata experience in fighting is pretty much the same or a tad more. Tenten fought her clone and Temari only, while Hinata fought Neji and Pein.(So they both actually had only like two fights. Hinata may have lost against Pein and Neji while Tenten lost only against Temari, but Tenten was defeating herself which she knows all about). Im just saying maybe Hinata can defend herself since we havent seen all she can do! She barely fought and got any screen time.

Since when did she go on all those missions? Last time I checked, the only missions she went on were when she fought her clone. I believe thats the only one that wasnt a filler. Nah, it's not luck. It's hard work (they have the most training craze thanks to Gai). They worked really hard to be where they are, mostly Lee. Their teamwork is emphasized quite a lot as well.
I'm sure they failed a few, but not many. If they had a record of failing missions I doubt Tsunade would have given them A ranks less alone an S.
Yeah, but its not so bad to give the secondary characters some spotlight. Thats why they arent even popular much. Lee's going down, Neji's going up I think but Sakura passed him.(Not sure though.) And Tenten's still down in those high and middle 20's.(I dont even see Gai-Sensei on there!). Hinata's also going up but not by much.

That's not really why she lost. She said she can focus on the enemy, even though. It's just, Guren, the crystal user, tricked Hinata (and everyone else) by making a crystal shadow clone, and then trapped Hinata in one of her crystals.

No. As much as I love Hinata, her father has secret jutsu's that only the main house learns and Hinata does not know all of them. Hinata has a chance but I believe its 50/50 that she could beat her father and against Neji, she has like a 35% chance or something. XD

Sakura sure is strong and a good med-Nin, but she always relay on others to get things done...and crying all the time. When I look at sakura I see Olive Oyl from Popeye....a tsundere damsels in distress.

Hinata hasn't won ONE battle either, so it's kind of hypocritical to say she has more talent than Tenten when she hasn't even had a fight in Part 2 yet. And outwitting yourself is harder than it sounds.
Yes, Hinata is underestimated, but so is Tenten. They are both amazing character. Now only if Kishimoto stopped being lazy with the minor characters and developed them a little more...

Tenten fought on par with her clone. Is fighting a clone really that easy? Someone that has the same abilities and knowledge as you? It's like fighting an unbreakable mirror.
It has to count for something.
Yes, Tenten didn't win a 'battle' either, which is why many think Kishi should give them all a chance to prove themselves.

There is no way of knowing if ANYONE would win against their clone. Can you outsmart yourself without being outsmart by your clone first? Again, it's not easy, but I'm not saying any of the Konoha 12 wouldn't have beaten their clone. It's just not easy.
Tenten trains with Neji, but Hinata is no Neji, nor has she been shown doing Kaiten, so we don't know if she can defend herself from a mass of weapons. Tenten has the upper hand, she knows the Hyuuga abilities.

Erm...correction...she ONLY trained with Neji for his Kaiten. She stopped training with Neji after the chunnin exams. Hinata trains with Neji while Neji also trains with Hiashi.
I believe Hinata can defend herself from Tenten's weapons. We dont know much about Hinata's attacks, considering she's barely been shown and we havent seen much about Tenten either, but Tenten only uses weapons. So there's not much to say about her.

The second databook states that Tenten trains with her teammates and that they know her worth. Since when is Neji not her teammate? She didn't stop training with him. And because she trains with him, she knows his Hyuuga abilities. Just because Neji also trains with the Hyuuga doesn't mean he doesn't with his team.
How can you believe Hinata can defend herself when there is no basis for her abilities, much like Tenten? There is too little information.

Tenten and Hinata experience in fighting is pretty much the same or a tad more. Tenten fought her clone and Temari only, while Hinata fought Neji and Pein.(So they both actually had only like two fights. Hinata may have lost against Pein and Neji while Tenten lost only against Temari, but Tenten was defeating herself which she knows all about). Im just saying maybe Hinata can defend herself since we havent seen all she can do! She barely fought and got any screen time.

Her lack of screetime is why we don't know if she can defend herself. Again, no Kaiten anywhere. It isn't even mentioned in her databook profile.
The reason I say Tenten has more experience is because she has gone on more overall missions than Hinata, having 7 A rank and one bloody 1 S! rank while Hinata has 1 A rank and 0 S rank. It's there for something. It shows battle experience.
It's Shonen but Kishi still needs to give them all battles, damnit! More lovin' for the girls!

Since when did she go on all those missions? Last time I checked, the only missions she went on were when she fought her clone. I believe thats the only one that wasnt a filler. Hinata on the other hand, didnt really go on a mission. But had two fights just like Tenten. Her lack of screen time tells us that there is more she can do, just never see it.
Really, why are we continuing this conversation when I will always believe Hinata can beat Tenten and that I didnt want to start a debate?

She went on all those missions in the uncovered time line. Not everything is shown, but the information given should be taken in consideration.
And this is continuing because we have different opinions. You believe in Hinata, I don't mind nor does anyone else. It's a matter of preference. I simply presented facts and logical assumptions to explain why Tenten would have the upper hand and replied to understand the possibility of Hinata winning.

Character profiles in databook 3. Yes, they tell you the types of missions Hinata went on. There is interesting stuff in there, like Kishimoto's opinions on their dressing and other details.
Actually, my opinion is quite tangible. I don't support Tenten because I'm a fan, but because of what I've read and know. My opinion can change as long as the argument is valid.

Well, since im guessing your not lying then ok. But still, Tenten went on missions way before Hinata did. Hinata was still in the academy while Tenten was completing missions. And we dont know if she failed some of them.
I'm not surprised about the A rank missions she's gone on since Konoha's almost always in trouble...

Yeah, I wasn't surprised about the presence of the A ranks, but the S rank caught me off guard even though she is part of the holy-team-of-fighting/training.
On a side note (and even though this has nothing to do with this conversation), Team 8 (Hinata included) became Chuunin before Team Gai! That always makes me smile.
Konoha does seem to be the enemy magnet (lol).

Meh, she and Lee most likely got lucky because they have a Jonin(Mr. Uke Neji! :D) and their sensei which means they have 2 Jonins.
I never really thought missions is what said how strong someone is. I always thought it depended on their fighting style and other qualities. We dont know if they failed them or some.
Tch, Konoha is the enemy magnet. It gets annoying everytime Naruto has to save the day! I wish it was someone else for once, like Shino, or Neji or even Chouji!(mostly Neji). >_>

Well, the manga is named Naruto, so it's only expected it will focus on him saving the most butts.
Nah, it's not luck. It's hard work (they have the most training craze thanks to Gai). They worked really hard to be where they are, mostly Lee. Their teamwork is emphasized quite a lot as well.
I'm sure they failed a few, but not many. If they had a record of failing missions I doubt Tsunade would have given them A ranks less alone an S.

Yeah, but its not so bad to give the secondary characters some spotlight. Thats why they arent even popular much. Lee's going down, Neji's going up I think but Sakura passed him.(Not sure though.) And Tenten's still down in those high and middle 20's.(I dont even see Gai-Sensei on there!). Hinata's also going up but not by much.
They are training freaks. :D Especially Neji, since now he also trains with his uncle/main branch leader, and his cousin.

XD Can't really used that, and I don't know actually. =/ Until they show her having a fight in the manga (which is possible now, it seems almost everyone is going to fight and I would love to see Neji and Hinata working together.) and she shows all her techniques, I can't say anything about this.
And she did lose, but I don't think Tenten would have won either. Weapons against crystal? The user even made crystal weapons, I doubt anyone could beat her, but she's gone now.

That's not really why she lost. She said she can focus on the enemy, even though. It's just, Guren, the crystal user, tricked Hinata (and everyone else) by making a crystal shadow clone, and then trapped Hinata in one of her crystals.
No point of really talking about this since it's a filler, and fillers don't count.

No fillers are when something happens in the anime (one on TV) that didn't happen in the manga. The magna is canon, meaning everything it shows in the manga is true. But when you see a part in the anime that was not in the manga, it's filler.

Not really. Kishimoto, the creator of Naruto, writes and draws the manga. The anime is made by animators, and not the creator.
And sometimes, when your watching Naruto, like that arc with Guren the crystak user, it's not in the manga. So if it happened in the anime but not the manga, it is filler.

Nah, it's alright. I didn't understand it at first. I thought everything in the anime was true until I talked with others and tried backing up NaruHina (when I use to be a fan of it, now I think it's ridiculous.) with fillers, and they explained it to me. xD I looked very stupid.

Filler...fillers dont count. Tenten and Hinata both went on only one mission, Hinata when they heard Sasuke killed Orochimaru and Tenten when they were going to save Gaara.
