  • i have a question,if u beat the white egg u dont need to put anymore sugar?

  • i tried yr recipe but sadly failed coz i used self raising flour instead :)

  • yes you can use all purpose flour.. i've already tried it before

  • really good!

  • beautiful

  • SUBSTITUTE for cake flour if you dont have it.

3/4 cup (105 grams) all purpose flour plus 2 tablespoons (30 grams) cornstarch

    MAKES 1 CUP (130G)

  • 2 1/4cups cake flour = 1/2 cup cake flour?

  • chiffon is my favorite!! :D

  • I tried your recipe, but I used all purpose flour. Like you said, the cake didn't taste good because it wasn't cake flour. It was sticky and very thick in texture. Next time I make this, I'll try using cake flour.

  • I have a question...can I use regular flour instead of cake flour? Have you tried making it with just regular flour? I want to try this recipe, but don't have the cake flour and I was wondering if I can subsitute the it with flour instead.

  • @EnjoyingLife100 I haven't tried with all purpose flour but I am sure it will be OK. The cake texture may not be very silky.

  • @EnjoyingLife100 NO. Use Robin Hood cake flour. Don't be cheap or lazy. Go to the Superstore and get yourself one! *slap*
