I prefer windows 2 apple software,I just cant get on with OSX! Probs becoz I dnt no it well.I find it hard 2 change control settings and system settings(os x), that said,I do need a macbook 4 my course @ uni & wondered how well U can use vista on it?can U use vista easily on a day 2 day basis on the mac, and then os x 4 design software only?P.s the technicians @ my uni have many problems with macs(not my words, theres)maybe becoz they arent compatible with alot of uva programmes.

vista runs EXACTLY the same as it will on a pc as it will on a mac.... and yes, the reason they have many problems with macs is because windwos is so big, and no one wants to waste their time creating programs for mac's if no one uses them.

you can run vista on a mac perfectly with no problems. (and linux)

you can ONLY run windows or linux.

There are a lot of stuff out there that it is not compatible with mac system. I have a panasonic camera that i cannot use with mac because it is compatible only with windows xp and vista. I also have few games and music softwares that are not compatible with vista too.. I love the macbook aluminum but I use vista in mines more than mac itself because of the compability.

the rating is 4.8 ! it's just because of the RAM... RAM rating is the lowest, all other Rates are around 5.3 to 5.8 ! I have 4 GB ram in it, but stupid VISTA only recognizes 3 GB ! ! ! love my MBP :-)

glossy screens suck so bad. I have a matte macbook pro brand new and a white macbook and i hate the glossy finish. Plus matte is brighter for some reason and it has pure color quality..!!!!!!!!

that is easy, open your application folder (apple+shift+A) than go into the utilities folder and start the "boot camp" assistant.

choose the size for the partition on the HD. do a restart with

the win XP or win VISTA DVD and it stars the installation. after the complete installation just put the OSX DVD in and install the apple device drivers.... :-)
