No tail fat is a big sign of dehydration, even when they have water they dont always drink it, try spritzing him with water twice a day as well as the cage

ok i had the same problem with my savannah monitor the pet store told me i needed to give him small fruits and vegstables and he said i need to let him excercise like swimming in bath tub or walking around sometimes and it worked

The Carrot Tail isnt a Carrot Tail. They need 60% or more of their tails to be orange and the two rescue leopard geckos are both tremper albinos nice vid though

ok love the video :) and about your Leopard gecko the one with the eye problem mine are both like that. they both have to be hand fed look at its eyes if its got this fogy-ish look in them then it might be blind. One of my lizards are blind :/ the person before me didnt take care of them right and she got some skin in her eye while shedding :( but right now they are 16 years old and they are in perfect heath :D

try feeding your savannah some pinkys or fuzzy mice or if he,ll eat some dog food or ground beef but not alot but he needs more fat in his diet so try feeding him ever day what ever he will eat he will get his fat back

btw the bedding you use for your sav will kill him in the future.he will lick it enuf to pack his mouth up tih it and eventually either he wont be able to eat and starve and you wont know why.or he will block his jacobsons organ and die in a few hours of blockage.move him to somthing harder.sand.chips.bark.not cedar chips.but trust me i lost a tegu and a sav in that stuff.

savs dont use tail fat while they are babies so they do not store it. As it gets older you will start to notice the tail getting fatter..As long as it is eating there is no problem> hope this helps i used to breed them and the babies never got tail fat until they were around 10 months to a year old for me.
