Plus many larger corporations have no national ties to US and I feel they will abandon us when we are fully economically drained. Personally, I do not see many ways out of this scenario without defaulting and suffering for a decade. We should of took care of this issue years ago.

@hemicuda10 No US rating agency ever will downgrade the AAA-rating of the US-government, because it would be seen as a hostile financial terroristic attack. The CIA has already warned off Moody's. Consequently the agency withdrew its threat to lower its rating and officially states "US can keep its AAA-rating - no matter what happens".
This is a very important point, since a AA-rating would cause more costs for the US than the 9/11-attacks - and even more people would die from such a rating.

Democrats haven't punished the people responsible for this crisis, but Republicans are solely focused on Obama not getting reelected. How come the only commercials about Obama, even on CNN, are always against Obama? Makes you think that those with the most money don't like him, like Health Care companies. Debt ceiling has been raised a fuck load of times under Republican presidents! Economists said Obama had no choice about the stimulus. But now, main problem is world economy is evening out

What makes folks think if someone is wealthy they should pay more taxes than everybody else does? If you make less than $35,000yr you do not pay a dime in federal taxes, unless you just don't file for a tax refund.The top1-2% of the wage earners in the US pay 32% of all federal taxes! The bottom 45% pays ZERO! The sense of entitlement in this country is out of control nobody owes you or me a dime, way to many folks are sitting on their lazy butts waiting on someone to take care of them. WAKE UP!

They know full well that they are putting the responsibility for our fiscal health on the middle class. @GNut1980 I watched the vid to see if the reporter's face was full of hate and I didn't see it at all. He asked a lot of very direct questions of Paul, which is great because it allowed Paul to give his views on the big issues. You must be used to other reporters on Fox fawning over Republican politicians.

@GNut1980 I think he was interupted maybe two times and both times was cutting off the very end of a long answer. Paul does a LOT of talking with several long answers. Its an interview-not a speech. What did you think of the Obama/ Bill O'Reilly interview on Super Bowl Sunday-the one where O'Reilly interupted Obama 53 times. You must have been so outraged that you have completely stopped watching O'Reilly from then on.
