Scaletta: Who loves the sun, Senselessy Cruel, All Through the night, Ecstasy, Small Town, Mother (John Lennon), Venus in Furs, Sunday Morning, Femme Fatale, Waves of Fear, Sweet Jane.......Encore 1: Charlie's Girl, Boogie With you, The Bells.....Encore 2: Pale Blue Eyes
This brings back great memories of eating acid with amazing, intelligent, fun people. Mark you were the best of all of us... and you are missed brother.
Lester Bangs reviewed The Bells for Rolling Stone when it came out. He quoted the lines as: 'The city's funny and the country's quiet / But I wanna know why they don't have a riot'
Great, powerful album, Disco Mystic notwithstanding.
he said he was going to put a gun in my mouth and make me watch him rape my wife. i think israel is a usa base in the middle east. they modify f-22 stealth fighters. why didn't he sing about the f-22 instead?
I played this tune till the tape got worn out I think!!! It just never lost my mind,,, what a Classic of Classics,,, and so few I know even know of this tune!!! Solid Gold!!!
Which one of the Velvets sang " Jesus, help me find my proper place, help me in my weakness, 'cause I'm falling out of grace" ?
so ethereal
Which album is it on?

By now, this reminds me of St. Vincent's and 9/11. Past, present, future. And then the morning, every time.

i saw him play this live. i took a shot at the reel-to-reel with my 9mm. a good christian stands in the 3'oclock stance versus this jew.
birdhaldol 2 years ago
you don't know what a good christian is, obviously.
chickey1861 2 years ago
yes i wish i hadn't said that. he had me all upset about that blue mask album song called "the gun".
birdhaldol 2 years ago
What does "the gun" have to do with this song? And what about your stance vs. "this jew"?

"The drinks are on the house are on me" Don't quite now what that menas but it is a cool line.

the drinks aren't on the house they're on me.
as in he's paying for them. they aren't free.
ireallyhatejesus 3 years ago 3
He works at the place. The house won't give drinks out, but is okay with employees treating people out of their own pocket.
