My question is if blacks are to be assimilated why is it necessary to single out OMB for purposes of racial inequality? It opens up debate on racial statistics which typically paints a picture of negative views of black people. Its a catch22 with racial inequality because its hard to evaluate the purposes for such a large number of disparity.

Thanks for the feedback guys, this is something that really proves that there is still a uneven equality in the job market...so sad that there is still more to go in improving things on that front.
My opinion is if blacks and latinos want to get paid what they are really worth is to start their own biz ventures. Be it a mechanic shop, Gas Station, Restaurant, Roofing, You will do much better off than working for a white man who will never acknowledge your talents or efforts you contribute to the organization.
I completely agree this recession is the black man's depression. Employers often rather hire a white man with highschool degree vs a black man with a university degree. A black man with highschool diploma has same chance of getting hired as a white man with a felony. Im latino from my perspective blacks have it worst followed by latinos.
@TheCashistrash Are you sure latinos are not being affected by the past recession woes. Its true though excuses aren't going to solve a thing. Believe me, some of us have heard it all lazy, others working harder doing jobs that no one else wants to do but we are past that now. This video maybe the wakeup call for those wanting to share in cognitive analysis of the current job market because the black unemployment rate has always been double the national average anyway.
