It depends what speed processor/gfx card they are. But rfactor is quite old now, it dosnt need an amazing machine to run it

I formatted my harddrive recently when i upgraded some things so i actually dont have the cams anymore, infact i actually forgot to backup my cars folder so i've lost everything :[

Smooth drive, what's the lap-time? I'm using FSONE 2008 1.0B MP to learn how to set up a car (I'm ok with setting up df, gearbox, tires & steering, I totally suck with susp & diff).

In my latest good lap (w=ClwUNSVRg80) curbs during acceleration is an absolute no-no. I know the basic theory but I need a good setup guide and/or a good setup to get me started.

Could you share your setup so I can compare it with mine (we can trade via Utube Inbox)

@MrFunnyDwarf, I do have a Saitek R220 steering wheel, the only problem is I think one of my pedals is jammed cause when I go to setup my throttle, it's like I have full throttle initiated even when I disengage it so I'm forced to use the buttons on the wheel itself. Pretty weird, huh?

I can't give full instructions but to me MrDwarf it sounds like you have to split your peddle axis.

That's a simple bug in rFactor.

Just goto controls and setup the pedals again and it will work.

With my one, it thinks brake is reverse until I configure the controls again.

Sorry Ultima76, but is very possible to race whit no aids, you just need to pratice very hard, and learn the way... its hard, but is totaly possible

People thought CTDP 06 was impossible to control until they learnt how and what the Differential settings did.

I would assume you're talking about Differential Lock? I toyed around with that a little bit. I dunno, maybe I'm doing something wrong and need to look into it some more. I'll give it another whirl.

I just saw your drive around the Abu Dhabi circuit with your BMW Sauber. The car is very stable, acceleration on exit is really good. Nice drive to be honest. So traction control, anti-lock brakes, opposite lock, stability, those aids are all off?

Yes, thats why i recorded the lap live with the window in the bottom right corner showing them turned off.

I used fraps to record it in-game via the replay. Then i imported the recording into Premier Pro to desaturate it slightly and add the darkend edges.

Yes this is Rfactor, without driving aids.

I don't see the point of driving what is suppose to be a sim, with aids. unless you don't have a proper steering wheel/pedals etc.

I don't have a monocoque or any sort of elaborate sim set-up if that's what you mean. Just a half-decent PC with the G25 wheel/pedals.

I actually can't remember my settings in Adobe Premier because i had to format my HDD just a few days ago, so i've lost them :[

From memory, i can remember somethings: format/codec H.264, 720x576, aspect ratio D1/DV PAL (1.067) , 30fps, bitrate 15,000.

Just paste the cam file in a particular car folder, like: rFactor\GameData\Vehicles\FSON­E08SE\2008\Equipos\MarlboroFer­rari . There should already be a cam file there, so just back it up before puttin the new one in.

The HDR plugin is at rfactorcentral in the addons tab, its called ENBSeries HDR plugin

Well you just press 3 to toggle through the mirror options.

But i dont drive in T-cam view, i drive from the cockpit then record the video via the replay from T-cam, thats why i dont get the mirror at the top of the screen.
