It wouldn't be hell if you double wield all weapons and not use an energy sword till you finish blowing the Reator Pylons. it would be a whole lot easier that way, and i know this because Halo 1 with just one plasma rifle was easy as hell.!!!!! this is because i had halo CE and added the tag for Dual wielding.that and Meleeing them like 5 times to kill the spore that made the Brutes get infected of said Flood.

When I did this on legendary, I used the cloaking device to run past them quickly to the next check point. You'll be there for hours trying to kill them individually :(

im currently at 35seconds into this video, on legendary. it is such a bitch. So far ive managed to get all this way on my own, now i just need to get passed this shit level :p. I use the carbine to snipe all the ranged flood, then when i move passed to about :40 i get raped by all the flood comin towards me.

Hm, I guess this is gonna be tough : You gotta find a Covenant carbine/ plasma rifles or grenades, which can effectively eliminate the ranged forms (the flood that throws needles). But the most important thing is to use your fire with caution. Every single bullet is precious in this level - and when you go to the room with the docked pelican, I advice you to grab as many ammo as you possibly can
