Lost Odyssey: Spirit Sorceror Fu Battle

Had to level up in this place until my team were 70-80ish. Now defeated the boss but can't remember how to get out.......

Really hate this fight now. At first, when I couldn't best him, my imagination ran wild wondering what I would get for defeating him. I convinced myself that I would be rewarded with the 'Halberd of the Heavens' spell, and was massively dissapointed when I got 'Sacrifice Self' instead. Still, it was plenty fun.

I was waaay underleveled when I first tried this guy. I had to run around inside the place for a good hour power leveling before I could beat him. That damn halberd of the heavens would one shot my Mack and Cooke.

so i played lost odyessy was into it 60 hours about an then i got to this boss i got so frustrated i bought oblivion beat that an i came back to lost odyessy only to find myself leveling up so now im at lvl 70 and am starting to get pretty pissed how the hell am i gonna beat this guy i know the strategy like dont kill his minions so he doesnt regain health but uggghhhhhhhhh someone please help cuz i dont wanna spend another 3 hours leveling up to 80

Actually, you really need to get rid of both souls to focus on fu. They're vulnerable to death, so just cast that on both of them and they won't respawn.

When they cast Sacrifice Self, it takes two turns to use, so you can try to kill them before them. At any rate, Death will insta-kill them, so they never get a chance. One both are gone, Fu can't heal himself at all.

Look up "SplitPlaythru" on Youtube to find videos for the temple of enlightenment. It's a lot easier than trying to find your own way out of that retarded place.

If by "true" RPG you mean the Japanese style, it's the most classic one, yeah. If you don't mind anime, then Tales of Vesperia is really good, although not totally turn-based.

There's also Eternal Sonata, Star Ocean, Blue Dragon, etc, but I think LO is somewhat superior.

The spell is actually All-Generatus. You'll need to have Regenerus (in an invisible chest in the Ice Canyon where you fought the boss) and Zephyrus (an invisible chest behind the playground in Uhra).

If you google "Xbox 360 Achievements" and go to their website, you can look up Lost Odyssey in the games list; check out the forum for the locations of everything.

Cubic Music Score 9 is in the Pirate Fortress, in a chest next to the Pipot.

It's on an invisible chest (you need the glasses from the music score you just got) in Gongora's Secret Lab. Enter his mansion, exit out the left door, and break the seal.

Remember that you'll need the Special Accessory skill from Sed to equip it.

you cant have both of caim and seths ultimates only one of the two. and to get them u have to go to the temple of enlightenment and get the orichalcum and once you get it go to ipsilon south and just keep going up the ladders until you see a guy just standing on the path talk to him and he'll tell you to choose. pick either seth or kaim and he'll make their ultimate weapon........................­boom!

Seth is using the weapon you get for defeating the cave worm. I don't know about everyone else.

I use age of the king on Kaim, Master sword on Seth, and then i have Magic gun of Aneira on sed, and the staff you get at kelolon village for Sarah and Ming.

he could have done this way faster if he used all those chances to double cast, and also by casting "Faster" spirit magic when he did Leveler and 3 combo, it would cancel out the wait time. And he coulda done Death For the 2 minions. But other than that it's a nice video.

And does anyone know what weapon his mages are wielding? My staffs suck, except the Cooke only one I have.

also when you go on the royal seals optional quest one of them gives u hp max up 4 then have every immortal learn royal equipment so they can use it and if you get all royal you get the strongest weapon in the game and a sweet ultimate move not given out what it is you'll just have to do the quest to find out if you need help GammerTag is GladAttack1123

you get the gravity ring by beating the cave worm in the forgotten cave that rings absorbs both mp and hp and aneira's ring you get by finding all six missing crewman for sed and the ignis ring you get by find the orichulaum in the ToE thats seths ultimate weapon give it to the guy in the iplson mountains

I'm not hating but, this won't help you much unless you almost as leveled up as this guy is. In case in lower in the ranks: I've actually just beat the temple at levels: Kaim 78, Mack 62, Seth 78, Sarah 74, and Ming 76.

At this level, it's not that hard once you have Forcus/Gamble, DEATH(for the remaining minion--kill 1 first w/ brute force, and then worry about Fu and only use this spell against the minion until it works, mine was one-shot-one-kill), Complete Defense, Persistence, and...

In all seriousness, you can gain those levels by simply going through the temple of enlightenment and NEVER RUNNING FROM BATTLE. I went to the ToE around lvl 40, and left with everyone at about level 78-80+.

Pretty easy, and in only 8 hours too. Feasibly, you should be gaining a level every battle at first, and then with your immortals you can gain levels much more quickly with Sed's Double XP ability.

one only, and you can use it to make a sword for either Seth or Kaim, it's only one or the other, can't have both. In my case, I used it to make the sword Kaim is using, the Durandal.

You don't learn Leveler or Divide from the mortals they are optional spells that you have to go to two different areas to acquire. As to which mortal can natively use each one Cooke can use Divide without any accessories and Jansen can use Leveler without any accessories. As for Seth not losing life there in that particular case it was the ability "Absorb Attack" kicking in. The ability gives a chance for any non magic attack to instead heal for the same damage it would do.

take white boa to the far north coastline and break through ice where you can up there to reach snowfields. It's in that area, have to kill blue dragon at end to get.

all generatus is a composite skill

It's a level 4 composite magic spell so you have to have the ability to use that level of composite magic and it's a combination of Regenrus and Zephyrus, lvl 8 spirit and lvl 8 white magic spells respectively. Regenrus comes from an invisble chest requiring the Sunderech Glasses in the Ice Canyon it's by the Royal Seal at the end of the area. Zephyrus comes from opening an invisble chest much like the one mentioned previously, but in Uhra's Residential area. Hope that helps.

How did you get leveler to take of 12000? I thought the spell just took of your current HP. 3 combo is cool but combo is faster, so in the time it takes for 3 combo to hit, you could have got in two combos (i.e. 4 hits, not just three)... I think.

With Leveller it's just not certain my best guess is that is is a function of hp but takes in to account magic attack power etc. as well, beyond that I have no clue what that function would be and I can only get Sarah or Ming to break the 9999 barrier with it. As for the 3 combo part you are right, I just chose to do 3 combo for the coolness factor and to make the battle last just a little longer, techincally I could have finishied it fast I just wanted it to be more entertaining.

If anyone is having trouble with the two Reversa mobs after the first Obsidian ceremony, get both as low as you can before you kill one, I had both sitting at 500 each before I took them both out simultaneously, no matter how low you get them they will not Sacrifice self until the other has died.

This boss really aint that hard since he only has 2 attacks that will cause damage. All I did was encounter monsters in the temple till I got my party up to about level 65 or higher. It took a while but it worked. The obsidian just attack it with all you got and on the other 2 that Fu summons keep attacking one till you kill them and same tactict on the 2nd. Fu minions take at least 2 turns to cast self sacrifice then after taking them out focuse everything on Fu while keeping ur own party alive

i can't handlecthe self sacrifice. Iv'e tried attack Fu and attacking his ally, either way they both get healed by self sacrifice. I guess you just have to kill one of them quick. Its just my chars range from lvl 55 to 39. Probably should wait till level 8 black magic. anyone got any ideas?

You may want to wait on the spells, with those guys it all comes down to killing them before they use self-sacrifice. The trick is though that they don't use self-sacrifice until they get somewhat low on hp so if you are having trouble doing a one round kill of one try taking it down to maybe half health or so or as test with a couple to see how far you can get one day without it using self-sacrifice, and then use the next turn to burn it down. That's the best I can offer with that for now.
