  • That's Badass! I have that album and forgot how good it sounds!

  • @privettricker hey man, good job,as always (even though I have to admit you're right, sounds a bit sloppy but who's perfect?),I think the best version of this song is the BBA cover on Live in Japan...the combined power of those 3 Mofos almost killed me...are you planning on doing something from the first Jeff Beck album (Truth)? Or maybe you already did something from that?

    Cheers

  • I like SRV rendetion of this. Good job tho

  • @JASONCALEDONIA For my money, BBA did the definitive version. I like Beck's even better than Stevie Wonder's.

  • awesome..........loved it!

  • Just saw Jeff Beck last night, truely a guitar god of god's....palming the trem bar on his Strat and the volume button at the same time, amazing.

  • Nothing wrong with sloppy, they say Jimmy Page is sloppy. Keep rockin' \ m /

  • Privetricker, i gotta challenge for you, "Shake My Tree" by Coverdale/Page

  • @HammaoftheGods Sorry, I can't play any music involving David Coverdale. Just can't do it.

  • @privettricker The record is great, although its not Plant, there are some great songs on the album, hmmm i would love to see you do some Outrider songs, that will be fantastic, because there are barely any covers out there.

  • @privettricker thats a good one!!! i feel the same way about coverdale! its almost sacriligious to mention coverdale, he bastardized led zeppelin music, any real zeppelin fan would agree!!!

  • @privettricker LMAO Tawny Kitaen would be proud!

  • @privettricker What about the version with Page and Plant? I'm in effing love with that riff, and I'm hoping you'd do a Page and Plant version...

  • @meshuggahismylife I've never heard a Page/Plant version.

  • @privettricker Oh. It's exactly the same, just Plant singing instead of Coverdale. I think David Coverdale was just a fill in while Plant was doing his solo stuff.

  • @meshuggahismylife Hmm? Page and Coverdale did a version of Superstition? I'm confused.

  • @privettricker Oh, I think we;'re talking about two different things... I hand't thought it through before I replied, but I was talking about Page and Plant's Shake My Tree. Sorry for not mentioning that the first time around..

  • did ya hear about the new self tuning guitar gibson has, just wondering if ya checked it out.

  • @jroxx11211 I've heard of it. Kind of like the TransPerformance system Jimmy Page used in the mid-90s.

  • @privettricker yea, i hear its real expensive, its a mini on board computer that automatically adjusts the strings whenever they're played, pretty wild technology!

  • So true...try playing along with some old Sabbath stuff... I don't think anyone actually tuned anything....not to mention the strange down tunings that Iommi did. But you're right...The old school recordings are great, just a trick trying to get in pitch with it.....again....Good job.

  • Nice one....I guess you tuned to the record/cd/whatever......It's about a semi tone sharp...not E and not F...I hate when recording are like that....gotta tune the whole guitar for one song....Anyway...........Good job. I get a lot out of your videos...thanks

  • @srgrimm13156 After recording all these videos playing along with CDs, I'm used to constant re-tuning. Classic rock/pop is all over the place in terms of pitch. You could play a dozen AC/DC songs all in the key of A, and none of them will be tuned the same!

  • hey privettricker i was wondering where you find out all the music for your covers... especially The Beatles. thanks

  • @TheJMonster1 I just play along with CDs.

  • I couldn't understand why you wrote "sloppy" in the explanation. This is the way that it should be played!

  • great groove brother. hope youtube hits you with some ad revs. 8 million hits - you deserve it

Mary Janes Last Dance? Looked around, don't think you have done it.

  • why dont you do any buckethead

  • @tecknoviking444 Not a fan, I'm afraid.

  • Nice one again, I have a request if you are interested in doing it. Nazereth, This flight tonight. I thought it may interesting, thanks.

  • Man, is there any song u can't play. Loved it!!!

  • @37paull1 You mean besides this one?

  • cool, tricker

  • request:shake my tree and/or pride and joy coverdale page

  • Actually Beck wrote the song with Stevie Wonder, who was going to give it to Beck, but was coaxed into recording it himself and put it out before Beck recorded it. According to what I heard, Beck wrote the drum part! But most people know it as a SW song, but I think Beck is also credited as its author.

  • lol 4:20 long tehehe

  • @FatTonyCologino I knew someone would catch that.

  • Great Job as always. Keep it up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rocco from Alabama

  • I'd kill for that beauty you're playing my friend it's a sweet sweet guitar.Stunning playing and tone as always.Whats your amp if you don't mind me asking?

  • What amplifier(s) do you use? Great video!

  • @mgb1970 I only have one: Marshall AVT 50H half-stack.

  • Nice cover. Just FYI, Stevie released the song in 72, and BBA released theirs in 73, so yeah, it is a cover.

  • @MunterE Cool, thanks for the info.

  • please do I Aint Supersticious by the jeff beck group
