As a non-expert I suspect the sow is an Oxford Sandy & Black with many good qualities, particularly it's excellent temperament and mothering abilities. Prolific & hardy, suited to outdoor systems, & good foragers. The ground colour is light sandy/rust with random black blotches. Good length & a deep body, good quarters & fine shoulders, strong legs & feet & well set on, giving a free and active gait. Producer's of fine quality white skinned pork & bacon: will finish to pork weight in 22 weeks.
Isnt that a Gloucester old spot sow, been running with an ordinary long Landrace or similar boar.
