  • price reminds me to the buchla analog synth.

  • Does it have a tuner?

  • @Bridgebain Surely , but i didnt used it when i made the video caused didnt had much time , only plug and play!!! So excuse some -out of tune- situation!!!

  • @Bridgebain as soon as i heard it, i was like fml

  • 3:22 sounded amazing...

  • what website can I get the fractal for like 1500 bucks, I live in the united states so it would need to be able to ship here

  • Were is the djent ;(

  • u suck at playin guitar

  • @SuperNoobTroll how does he su....oh i see, you're a troll, for better results next time, dont name yourself a troll, it doesnt work.

  • @MjXllcommando you could easily write 20 pages on all the horrible mistakes he's making, but for you laymen it's just not music, musical, or similar to music in any capacity. "it's just a equipment demo" well wouldn't equipment sound better if used be someone who can actually play?

  • @SuperNoobTroll agree!!

  • @MjXllcommando

LOL hilarious! I didnt notice it till you pointed it out. lmao :)

  • @SuperNoobTroll I think the idea was to demo the Axe-FX, not the guitarists talent. That being said, I think some of this sounds pretty good! Maybe not Steve Vai, but hey, neither am I (and I'd guess you aren't either).

  • now u can take the axe II for 2300 euros!

  • quick question? how much does that beast cost you?? cause things that good and amazing arent cheap lol

  • I have an x3. and i can get some really good low gain and clean tones out of it...But once you step to the metal/High gain side....X3 sucks ass compared to FX.....

  • X3 is a great tone machine too, the ''secret'' is in your fingers!!!!

  • do they make a floor model of this ?

  • Underwhelmed for that kind of money.

  • @echosyst

I agree. Axe=overpriced. I purchased the Axe and sent it back after a few days. Guys on forums were busted my balls and said I didn't give it enough time. I found that the AxeFx amp models do not compare to the Diezel VH4, Diezel Herbert, and Mesa Mark IV. The A/D conversion before the preamp (4-cable-method) was sucking tone from my pickups (not as bad as G Major 2 and G System though). So I decided to buy the GCX Audio Switcher and patch effects in as needed.

  • how many rack spaces does it take up?

  • 2 U my friend

  • @geokef thanks man

  • Sound at 2:20 is a very convincing valve crunch, diggin' it.

  • I'm seriously thinking of getting one of these, but I am concerned about ease of use for live performances. Are all the tones foot switchable where you dont need to be an engineer to program it? Also it may be in my head but does it not sound still a little digital? I'm hoping Ican get past that. Also concerned in 2 years it will be obsolete due to a major breakthru in digital technology, this stuff is heating up fast and soon it will be perfected, if it isnt already. Sounds good, great playing

  • @Uz2Brockstar Get the Axe Fx Ultra with the Midi Foot Switch Control by Fractal Audio that should solve your problems for programming your stuff with your feet live and at home too :)

  • @Uz2Brockstar Fractal audio release's free firmware updates everymonth or every couple of months to keep u up to date!

  • Very nice. Can u make a video only with crunch and distorted sounds?

  • What kind of power amp are you using with the Axe Fx?

  • ART SLA2 bridged.

  • i get the same if not better tones with my pod xt for a fraction of the price

  • if so thats cool my friend!!

  • @orbital14 NO WAY! NEVER!

  • @orbital14 Having owned a POD XT myself, I seriously doubt that, but I"ll take your word for it.

  • pod xt is cool but u dont have the feeling than with the axe! Everything is on your finger anyway...

  • @agcatdriver LOL ain't that the truth!

  • @orbital14 yea my x3 does pretty well too. But other videos i've seen the axe fx kills everything. Someday I'll have enough money to get an axefx:) Im a big fan of the New Recto sim on there.

  • @orbital14 This makes me laugh.

  • marillion licks?!

  • Sounds like a Crate through a 1x6 speaker

  • Finally a simple demo not smothered in FX...thanks!

  • Thanks friend!!!! Stay tuned!!!

  • ωραιος!

  • Σπουδαία αγορά. Με τι κιθάρα έχουν γίνει αυτά που ακούσαμε?

  • Με μια ibanez prestige 2570

  • @geokef ευχαριστω για την απαντηση

  • How much does this thing cost?

  • 2100 euros

  • does it have dualtone like feature? so you can use two amp modles at the same time?

  • Comment removed

  • No nop!!! No latency at all!!!

  • Comment removed

  • @knikk77

When you can hear the latency, than it's impossible that "geokef" can play the guitar. Normal latency like Guitarrig, you can feel, but no hear.

  • Comment removed

  • @knikk77

The same at my Guitarrig 4. The difference should be, that there is no latency on the Axe FX's. When you can hear the latency from another player, than its impossible, that the guitarist can play in time - otherwise he uses Headphones. (Its also a good trick when you play Guitarrig - than I have only very less latency at all.)

  • @knikk77 none. dumbass

  • Nice of you to post this video. I've been looking for some non-effects laden axe fx tones for a while.

However, please tune your guitar next time. Out of tune strings hurt my ears.

  • Art Sla 2??, what do you think about that power amp??, I've listened lot of good things about it. Thanks

  • I have an art sla2 bridged in my rig . Very good poweramp with plenty of headroom. Best value for money. And its only 1U!!

  • Thanks for the demo, but I beg you to use the tuner before you shoot another video. Keep up the good work!

  • Its a pitch shifting effect my friend!!!!! LOL!!!

  • Then turn it off on the G string. lol

  • LOL!!!( Very clever!!) Thanks my friend for the comment!! G is always a problem!!!!

  • Steal Away the NIght into Kayleigh, you have impeccable taste sir :D

  • Thank you my friend!!!!!!! keep on rocking!!

  • Ah yes Kayleigh! I recognized it and couldn't pin point it. Time to dig out my Marillion CDs! Nice playing especially at 0:32 - 0:38

  • @snowbrdr88 : well, you could get an X3 and spend a LOT of time tweaking it...and get nowhere near what the Axe-Fx offers. Price really isn't that bad when you consider that a multi-channel all-tube rig with effects is going to cost you more than an Axe rig.

  • I notice leds metering the input signal. Does the instrument input have a variable input gain that needs to be adjusted?

  • exactly , there is a pot to adjust the input sensitivity in case you have hot output from your guitar or u use single coils!

  • it has a input level that i adjust just off of clipping red led

  • By that logic, why does a Mercedes cost more than a Dodge Neon? A car is a car. The AxeFX is for people who enjoy having the best of the best. The hardware components, software algorithms, programming flexibility, etc are all top-of-the-line. Does everybody absolutely need it? Probably not. But for people who want the flexibility of digital without the cheesy sound of lesser processors, the AxeFX could be the solution. Of course, the value will diminish once something better comes along.

  • more like a 2009 camaro vs a 69 camaro

  • Can the axe-fx be plugged into acoustic guitar? Also does it have any techno sounding effects?

    Thank you?

  • Didnt test it with acoustic guitar! The machine can be programmed to produce amazing effects! What d u mean by''techno soundinf effects" ?

  • I have plugged an acoustic into my axe fx. works fine imo, i used a 12 string in my latest video, found on my channel.

  • nice sounds! thx for uploading :)

  • That sounds really cool.
