  • Is there any place to get this bootleg in audio form?

  • Best. Band. Ever. 3rd Best Song Ever.

  • i swear it looked like JP actually swept the arpeggios? he usually alternate picks them...

  • @jckbac9 Yeah, he did

  • @jckbac9 That section of the song (the intro arpeggios) is monstrously hard to play. So JP opts to sweep them a lot of the time, to make sure they at least sound cohesive and decent. Thought they might miss the more staccato sound you might get from strictly alternate picking them. FYI, on the album, he actually recorded each arpeggio one at a time and pasted them together to form the full thing, to get it to sound right.

  • @lebannerfan65 I think I was the one who think the intro is monstrously hard to play lol hahhaha... I sweep it, but, the "correct" form is with arpeggios?? oh my...

  • @lebannerfan65 Where did you get this info from? Its quite unlike JP to cut and paste in the studio, especially for solos. But given how ridiculously hard that arpeggio section is, it is believable, but I'm mildly surprised.

  • awesome performance, and James did really well in this one

  • what happens at 1:35?

  • @galacticguitarist

  • What a great version! JLB was on form that night...!
