Truely a Python funeral. Anyone in attendance had to expect something to this extent. Eric's Always Look On The Bright Side Of Life is too perfect. It's like it was (unfourtually) written for this occasion.
The 'always look on the bright side of death' looked like it was especially hard.
I never met Graham Chapman, so I can't really say anything about him. However, I can say this: even though he is now dead, I am sure that his friends, family and Monty Python fans will continue to remember him in the future. After all, lives may only last decades, but legacies last centuries.
well, Graham was definitely very proud of his friends that day. Always Look On The Brighter Side Of Life fits thi occasion. Eric Idle is very strong to have been able to do that, you can tell he's trying to pull though.
I was two years away from my birth when Graham died, and i just recently became a Python fan. God bless them all, and may the rest live long, fun, humor-filled lives. <3
I think that was great of them. It must have been really hard to John and Eric to do what they did... (You can see it in their faces actually)
John's jokes and Eric singing the song.
But it was a good thing. I think every funeral needs at least one or two laughs... or else it's just to much. (And I can say this because I lost my mom when I was ten)
I think I officially demand someone to sing that song during my funeral... And to make jokes.
Douglas Adams at 0:46?

@Bodorio No that's not Adams. I think it's Terry Gilliam.

R.I.P. Graham Chapman; you have given me many a laugh and for once a tear to my eye. John Cleese gave a memorable speech ;-;

How on earth did this get on youtube? O.O

I guess someone recorded it at the time and digitalized and uploaded it as a tribute to a great author and comedian.

Graham Chapman was an author?

He wrote the script for a movie (which was never produced) and some of their sketches. ( 0:07 )

I wish a funeral like this one. Full of people looking at the bright side of life in such a sad day.
