The place that burned down was the old Pinball Pete's building across the street. It had be vacant for years. The location is this video is still very much intact.
Was last here in 2009. It's half of what it used to be. A lot of the good games are gone, and out of what remains, half of them are broken in some way or another. Pinball Pete's rules, I wish they would take better care of it and get more classic games. We'd spend a lot more money here if that were the case.
Damn, I haven't been there since 2002 looks the same though. I really miss Ann Arbor, trying to convince the wife to move up there with me. So much fun around there.
Oh and U know that dining area with a few old games by the tables, I didnt realize they even had Lethal enforcers, frogger and donkey kong anymore!(they used to be by the air hockey tables) The lethal enforcers game is 2 player, but one of the guns doesnt work anymore... ),:
Umm, not sure where you're getting that, but I work there, and we've always allowed pictures. It's not like we really have anything to hide. Hell, I'll take your picture if you ask me to. Are you sure that you didn't just piss off another employee?
I dont know, all I know is I was taking pictures in there one night, and this big black guy came up to me and said "excuse me sir, we dont allow pictures in here" sighting the reason "we have games in here that we arent suppost to have." It was back when there was a Drummania 3rd mix there. And it was when I took pics of a friend playing when they caught me. Back in 2001 or 2000 I think it was. I honestly cant remember.
Just talked with my manager about this, and he said "We don't allow people to just walk around talking pictures of people without their knowing of it, because we've had problems, but taking pictures with your friends? That's prefectly fine." He said that there's nothing wrong with the games and he doesn't know what happened with you. We still have Drummania, along with a lot of other "Japanese" games, but that's the answer from the bunsiness.
Hey, any chance you guys are going to update Spiderman with the latest code updates? I will come back and play more pin with my buddies if you do. And kudos to the $1 a play on it, make some money and keep up the pin maint!
Ah ok, thats a better explination than what I got from that one guy (If it was you, than sorry for referring to you as "that one guy"). lol. btw, as a side note.. Love petes, its sad when thats all I ever do in A-Town.
..at least they have a red bull machine *lol*. Yes this is a decent arcade. I don't see any space shooter games though, those are my favorite. Yeah the only decent arcade left around where I am is the retro arcade on Funtown Pier, NJ. I'm not sure if that will be around too much longer. I might inquire about if they want to sell my favorite video game machine should that be the case.
And i was really hoping i would see myself in that video.. :DD

I have played hockey with the owner of P.P. for the last 3 years now and I want everyone out there in video game land to know that he is a great guy.
I grew up in Lansing playing games at P.P. and now that I know Pete, its an even bigger honor to play his games, the man should be a legend.

We've updated the codes at least once, maybe twice since we got it, so maybe we are up to spec with the latest codes.
