Bravo! I found this just in time for Orthodox Christmas! Does the DPRK celebrate any festivals similar to Novi God, a festival that was celebrated in the Soviet Union and is still celebrated today?
Jingle Bells is not a Christian song, it's a Christmas song. There's a big difference. It's about riding a sleigh in the snow. I doubt we'll be hearing the Pyeongyang Choir singing 'Oh Holy Night' or 'Mary's Boy Child' anytime soon.
@Madeusz1 Not completely. The state version (which still worships the Kims) is used only as an attempt to strengthen relationships with other nations. Practicing the non-state version IS a capital crime.
Yeah I know. What would people who spent their whole lives in North Korea, like Kang Chol-Hwan and Lee Soon Ok, know about the actual situation there? What would the UN know? What woud Hwang Jang Yop, the inventor of Juche who defected to South Korea, know about life under Kim Jong Il? Oh wait. They actually really know what they're talking about, from personal experience. but of course western leftists like yourself have no time for pesky "facts".
the north koreans must have re arranged the lyrics into reerence of kim jong il
