JOE, IF YOU WERENT SO AWESOME AT RUNNING A GYM AND TRAINING DUDES, YOU SHOULD TOTALLY DO STRENGTH COMPETITIONS FOR A LIVING! YOU GOT SOME SICK POWER MY MAN!
j i wa wondering if you can tell me about the agility lines you have on your mats? do you use them often? i know that when i had mine at our gym we rarely used the agility ladders and dots.
- It is obvious to me that you are seeing nothing note-worthy during the first series of lifts from 0:27 thru to 1:28, but the one grip over-hand, one grip underhand is not the way I learned it. (50 odd yrs ago)
-excuse me for pushing the point this just hit me as something NEW, and different
@BigAl1048 No problem. That's the dead lift with an alternating grip. Standard for heavier weights. You might want to research double over hand, alternating, and hook grip for more information.
- before 'bench presses' one hand grabs bar overhand, one under, I myself, have never seen this done, if this is due to inattention on my part please excuse my lack of attention to details, if this is new/ advanced then I think it should have been covered big al
@BigAl1048 Big Al, are you talking about the bench press around the 1:43 mark? There are only two clips of bench in this video and the over under grip is used by the spotter - standard spotting technique for lift off and safety.
wish they had gyms like that near where i live, just got rubbish ones with no squat racks or bench press, instead they buy loads of machines
