HOLY FUCK I have been addicted to monster hunter tri and went to check on the other games. I would shit myself if I had to kill such a giant monster XD I didn't even repel Lagiacrus yet.

And I just went HYPER when I first heard monster hunter 3rd was coming for ps3! I just wonder if iw all in japanese, I would be desapointed at that. But I'm afraid we will have to wait a little longer: MHF 3 portable hasn't been released yet (maybe next month - maybe!)...the PS3 version (HD) probably will come later.

Acually " giant wyvern" is wrong , lao shan is one of the 3 only dragons in MH and MHF , there are new since mh2

Lao are very easy ya? It wont hit u. Lao can Live carve 3 time(Lao's back) and carve 9 time when he's dead( head 3 time, neck 3 time, body 3 time). The most stubborn thing is its tail. It can trap you easily when you need to back camp.

I counted about 610 hits to Lao before he died. So if you are using a lance with 470 attack and strike Lao 610 times then you put on him a damage of about 287,000.

@MrEmoComedian not really, that only happens if you are immediately struck with a fatal injury, such as being shot with a bullet, etc (Im talking about humans)

Since the dragon has sustained injury over time, when it dies is when it finally succumb to all of the small injuries that was dealt over time, and so before it dies, it releases its last few energy to finally die. Like how humans, if we are poisoned or dying of a cut, we will often do a quick shock before death

lao shan lung is only on monster hunter freedom i think, not sure, but i havent heard of anyone fighting it in any other mh game.

he was online on the first monster hunter game but the servers closed

so you can only fight the kirin and lao on mhfu

word is...capcom made the lao 'dying' cutscene really long for u not able to carve so manythings from it....so the trick is just to press select....they will cancel the cutscene and u will be able to carve without guessing where...this works for all except when u repel lao or fata...but if u kill it still works

omg i cant beat lao shan i have a lance with 414 atk as well with green and i attacked its stomach and head(*mostly the head) so any tips and i had power seed like u is it because i attack the head oh and this is MHF2 so i used anti dragon bombs
