  • is it true that they dont like a lot of noise and commotion?

  • @vballplayer4life Yes, they are very sensitive to noises. They just jump when there is a long silence then a noise out of the blue.

  • Hi, i found a hedgehog online for free, their selling it because they simply dont have the time for it. its 3 years old. My family is ok in terms of money for equipment, and i have the time for it. Considering its 3 years old, would it be wise to buy this hedgehog?

  • @KateFantasizes plz answer, i dont wanna let an opportunity to get a hedgehog slip away :)

  • @KateFantasizes hey, if you do have the time to put into a hedgie it's an amazing pet, just make sure your read up a tiny bit and relizes the hedgie may only live a couple more years. if i were you i woould take it it took me about 3 weeks to find a seller.

  • im 15 i obviously go to school and i really want one of these do you think i should get one? :)

  • @AtoJFuzz Hallo! I'd like to answer your question. Normaly hedgehogs are "wild" animals which should not be treaten like pets. The only exception to take one inside your house is when the "teeny-" oder "baby-hedgehogs" weighs less than about 450 gramms in Oktober. Then and only THEN you should help those animals to pass the winter. PLEASE - and this goes to everybody - DON'T treat them like cats or dogs.... a hedgehog ISN'T a pet; even if you can buy 'em in pet-stores. Thank you

  • @MrRandyman74 yes you can, the african pygmi hedgehog was geneticly breed for the soul puropose of being a pet. yes they are pets, onyl certan breeds, the african pygmi hedgehog is a pet

  • @AtoJFuzz Oh course, they're nocturnal, so they'll be asleep while you're at school, they do need attention and love though.

  • I don't know what that clanging was, but kept looking behind me thinking my dog was rattling the tags on his collar.

  • i dont see how my mom thinks the ugly i think there cute

  • @mccranky2 my mom said the same thing! but i think she's got a soft spot for them cause she's lettin me get one!lol

  • @daleydabomb your so lucky ill have to wait tell up a adult to get one cause my mom wont let me get one and plus we cant have pets in the amartment

  • i supposedly got the silent spinner but i think they should rename it to the loudest wheel in the world luckily i am used to other pets that make noise at night so it's no big deal

if you are a light sleeper be careful

  • how old do ur hedgies live?

  • Thanks so so so so so so so so much!!!!!!My mom said I might be able to get one I ♥ hedgehogs!

  • has your hedghog ever bit you?

  • @AKproductions1000 They will only bite you unless

    1. you hedgehog is a complete fucker. (joke :3)

    2. If you try and handfeed him or her a mealworm your hand may smell of it and he might bite your finger.

  • Your hedgehog seems very calm! You must be a really Great owner! :) I'm planning on getting one too. I have lots of spare time and I would love a small friend :) I live in a quiet house. Do you think a hedgehog would be good for me? :)

  • i got mine from B&B Pet Stop. they where very nice showed me all i needed, and hes very healthy. i saved for mine($200) and reaserched for 9 months before. sooo hard but worth it. PRIZE: a happy hedgehog. when my mom comes to sleep in my room if somethings bothering her, the first time she thought the house was haunted!!! LOL

  • Thank you so much! I wanted to maybe get a small animal, but they sound alot like guinea pigs! [I've had a bad expirence with guinea pigs] And I think I might go with a rabbit, plus I will be at school, I'm not sure yet...

  • @teamalice642 Naw you shouldn't put 2 or more hedgehogs together in a cage. They're actually very territorial.

    They might fight.

  • yup got my two for 200 a piece..three days after i got them they both got URIs...thus..a vet bill..like all exotics..theyre expensive lol

  • I HAVE A QUESTION! Ok haha sorry about the caps. anyways... can you do a video on how to heat your hedgehogs cage or room so it maintains the appropriate temp?

  • @tennis4thesoul you can use a heating pad or a heat lamp.

  • @tennis4thesoul You can buy a heat pad or lamp. They need a temperature around 24- 27 degrees celsius / 70 degrees Fairenheit. If your home is around this temperature most of the time, No need.

  • @tennis4thesoul You can buy a heat pad or lamp. They need a temperature around 24- 27 degrees celsius / 70 degrees Fairenheit. If your home is around this temperature most of the time, No need. But I would buy one just in case the temperature drops below that.

  • your just terrible :P

  • I have a hedgehog :) they are amazing!!!! They are very fun and interesting to watch

  • You have great videos. Very well done.

  • hey i was planning on getting one here pretty soon but i dont know where to get one haha could u help me out?

  • @sparXX2438

(If u haven't got one already)

You can get them online! Just type in hedgehog for sale or something like that and yeah thats it! But i don't know is pet stores sell them?.

  • @ThePoshPetz i found one hehe and hes awesome thank you tho :)

  • @sparXX2438 Try exotic pet stores in your area, or search for breeders in your state. Good luck!

  • @AllQuills IF you have a basement and an upstairs, if I sleep downstairs will I hear it?

  • @AllQuills Hi i would like to know if u live in PA? and if u do do u know any places were i can buy hedgehogs in PA?

  • @sparXX2438 A place called "Pets and such" sales them.

  • @dragonwolph i found where to get them already thanks tho :)

  • @sparXX2438 ok, cool. X3

  • @sparXX2438 pet stores carry hedgehogs that are mass-produced, almost in a puppy mill sort of way. pet store staff don't have the time to handle the hedgehog for an hour daily as recommended, so you will most likely get a hedgehog that isn't so friendly... a local breeder will produce a healthier, and much friendlier, pet!

  • @ELLohVEEeeX yea i know all of that now i posted that comment over a year ago and i now own 4 hedgies that are all great hogs :)

  • Comment removed

  • do they have to go to the vet and if so how often

  • A good question...I would like a hedgie in the worst way. I have a 12 y.o girl and 16 y.o boy we live in an apartment. I have wanted one for years the caveat here is I need a license to get on.

  • wat abut houston can 1 buy one in houston

  • Hi, I'm considering getting a pygmy hedgehog, but i don't know what size cage to get, I already have a few hamster cages, but they aren't that big and I'm afraid that it'll get bigger. What size cage do you use for Juniper?

  • @pheabz98 I would say get a cage thats about 2 by 2 feet and 1 level with no separate areas with no tunnels or anything make sure the cage is solid and if its a wire cage put some sort of... uh... covering? i remember seeing a video that said something you could use. It way part of a hedgehog Care series... so see if u can fidn that...

  • the hedgehoge IS the rigth pet for me!!yay

  • you are so good with your hedgehog!!!

  • you should make a video of all your hedgehogs p.s. i love all your videos
