    mirin er i think ard 3/4 cup

    If u want, add a bit off sugar and water for the sweet taste. U really don't NEED it.

    a little off topic...

    even folks that are used to eat hot peppers and sauces are often 'taken by surprise'

    by the taste of Wasabi or pure Horseradish...(or german Loewen Mustard..)

    them guys are used to the 'hot' taste but Wasabi & Co. are 'sharp' 'cause of the

    ethereal oils....makes even the toughest guys shed a tear ;-)

    anyway, good to clean up the sinuses of the nose if you have a cold...

    if you don't have the rice sour/salty try to mix soy sauce with lemon juice (about 50/50 to taste)

    as a dipping!
