It starts with kinslayer, kinslayer is the first of the album with those carecteristics, but not in the theme. What kinslayer has about 'gothic' is the way it is written.

Gothic isn't only the themes it also the ways people use to show something, as well as it's not only image but feelings, structure, text, etc. Again, I say, it's relative, is all about how you're seeing things and your viewing point.

Yes, it is more the earlier albums than the others. But if we see very well every single music and all, we can find a bit of it... The ''gothic'' in his own starts maybe in wishmaster(but it is very much a kind of continuation of oceanborn), with the kinslayer. I don't know why people started to call 'Gothic Sanctuary' to 'Gethsemane', do you know? But I think that maybe 'Gethsemane' in suomi or anything have something to do with gothic or sanctuary... If you have the album - which you probably don't because if you were anywhere near being a fan, you wouldn't make such a stupid comment - the title 'Gothic Sanctuary' is not listed anywhere.
