@fatybonbon The koto is an instrument played by delicate, small, movements which you clearly do not understand, as a Japanese, I have seen this myself!
Japanese culture is so amazing; it's so intricate; complex; refined. I'd love to go there some day, maybe as an exchange student... or as a temporary worker teaching english. I've had around 20 Japanese students stay with my family over the years and was always struck by the culture and history. I like that Japan's so advanced, but also reveres tradition. The music's great too.
My suggestion. If you do decide to go. You should at least learn some Japanese characters just to be able to get around. Or you could end up starving and getting lost alot.
wow really beautiful! i love those chinese/japanese type scales. they are very evocative and make me feel like i'm actually in some beautiful, old and mysterious place ^^

if you like this, look up Rin' - Sakura Sakura. its modern music mixed with Traditional. then you could also look up Kagami Gatsu, by the same group.

Just a helpful suggestion.
Wish you good luck with your adventure!

I'd actually buy the Rosetta Stone program for Japanese. I'd want to have a decent grasp of the language.

Hey, this is
子所のつき (kojo no tsuki).
Great song!
Joe.

Hey, Joe:
Allow me to correct the title: The correct kanji is 「荒城の月」
"Koujyou no Tsuki" means, "Moon (above the) desolate castle"
Rocky893 4 years ago
Sure, ありがとう。
「荒城の月」is a very impressive song.
I see this old castle before in it's full
impressive totality in my mind while hearing this song.
