Well, yeah, but if you compare them to how many girl rockers they look like it's nothing... Joan Jett, Queen of Rock and Roll, is one of the more important ones :)

Well I still think girls are pretty underrepresented in rock as well. I remember Rolling Stones top 100 Rock Guitarists list hardly had any girls (Joan Jett did make the list, however).

Have you heard of The Runaways? All girl rock band that rocked hard and featured a young Joan Jett. Look up their song 'Cherry Bomb'. Thanks for the friend request, btw.

They're not underrepresented, they just don't have anything "outstanding" in their playing, like Jimi Hendrix, everyone knows his style.

90's are ok. I like a lot from the nineties such as Nirvana (even though they started in like 1989 and ended in 1994) but yeah, the new rock I was talking about was like, 2000's lke Fall Out Boy, Panic At The Disco, all those bands.
