  • This has always been my favorite stooges song. I get so fucking hyped when this song plays. I FEEL ALRIGHT

  • That's got to be one of the best Wah-Wah guitar solos ever. (I wonder if Chuck Berry ever said anything about the lyrics... this is the second time someone deconstructed his song "You Can't Catch Me")

  • Soundtrack for Friday the 13th 2012!

  • Comment removed

  • Their 1st album and 2nd album Funhouse were 2 of the best albums ever made.

  • OMFG This will sounds greats for all the times , long live for the good music :)

  • STP TO ME TOO PLEASE! I WANNA FEEEEEEELLLLLLL FEEEEEEEEEEEEEEL BLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW

  • Who in the fuck is comparing Deftones to The freakin' Stooges? what the hell man??

  • played this song creating some beautiful memories to cherish

  • best song from THUG 2

  • I FEEL ALRIGHT!!!

  • deftones sucks

  • The sequel to 1969

  • @fat8622

True. But there's still good rock out there today. The White Stripes, The Strokes, Arctic Monkeys and many others with obvious classic rock influences.

  • @SinisterKid187 pfft

  • The Damned did this too right?

  • Surely Funhouse is the greatest album in the history of rock

  • epic

  • Reminds me of THUG 2 ;-)

  • Great song

  • get car insurance online..

  • Ive been trying to find this song for fucking ages, then i realised 1970 is the name of the song not the year.

  • I FEEL ALRIGHT

  • I feel alright!!!

    I feel alright!!!

    :-)

  • My research paper about Punk Rock music brought me here.

Guess what I got? AN A!

It was a trippy paper! Perhaps the best paper I ever wrote in years!

  • 5 people don't feel alright.

  • @cdealexanderhumble screw them 438 do

  • fun house or white light/white heat ?..

  • @Dromedarioespacial Fun House definately. "White Light/White Heat" for me, sounds like a shitty rock band just starting out. "Fun House" on the other hand has good drum beats, excellent guitar playing and a kick ass vocalist.

  • god I love Iggy!!! awesome person, musician and quite an awesome actor! He was friggin kick ass in Crybaby. LOVE THIS SONG!!!

  • Best fucking rock album!!!

  • 4 people couldn't figure out how to work their suicide kit properly when their emo meds kicked in. Justin bieber's chan is that way ---->

  • I FEEL ALRIGHT when i listen to this song!!!!

  • wtf 3 dislikes ? i hope anything you eat taste like shit .

    this song is fucking hot

  • BIG!!! Gritty!!

  • why can't ppl listen to good music and not complain about other bands?

  • @ChocolatePieAllDay

I know those are the ones that try to look cool when they're actually not

If you like good music, good for you but leave other people alone xD

  • @ChocolatePieAllDay Because punk was all about rebellion and HATE!

  • @ChocolatePieAllDay P.S. I'm being strictly tongue-in-cheek here.

  • I don't know about you guys but I think that this is the album you listen to while having sex on a hot and sweaty summer night.

  • AAH the ENERGY!!

  • I FEEL ALRIGHT!!!!

  • MLB 2K7

  • I never have heard this before. Wow. Pioneers.

  • @EclipseBandWa AWESOME

  • I know how Iggy feels, I get bored as hell on Saturday's, that's where sex and The Stooges come in

  • I'm revising for my exams with The Stooges in the background. the best possible way.

  • STOOGES!!!!!!!!!!! so underated

  • @Ben0itZ If anything they're overrated. I don't know anyone that doesn't like the stooges and a lot of people know who they are. That doesn't stop them from being good though.

  • @alexsweeley what? how? im 17 and i dont know to many people my age that have heard of and/or listened to the stooges. What i mean is they don't get much attention like that of bands like Zeppelin or Sabbath

  • @alexsweeley over rated? oh dear..

  • @alexsweeley

Whatever you're on, I want in.

  • @tubbythug92 give me some of it too!

  • Bigsmörgåsbørdwünderwerk!!

  • @Ignorant303 yeah what he said!

  • GBH !!!

  • holy fuck, this ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOCKS. It pains me to see kids call linkin park, deftones, slipknot or other shit of that nature rock in a world with the stuff lke the stooges, the rolling stones, the who, led zeppelin, velvet underground, doors, etc. I know it's cliche, but we know it to be the truth

  • @fat8622 i know man, being a kid of today i absolutely hate most of the new crap. I'd rather listen to the old stuff, which in my mind is the good stuff

  • @fat8622 I feel kind of bad for throwing deftones in with linkin park and slipknot. They're nothing great, but they're certainly a respectable atleast, the same can't be said about the other two

  • @fat8622 the dead boys are pretty good

  • @anomosity101 yeah, so are rocket from the tombs, the band a few of their members were in before the dead boys

  • @fat8622 i think deftones are pretty good.got nothing on this shit though

  • @fat8622 its a cliche - im listening to nearly all bands you mentioned in your post ;)

  • @fat8622 i know how fucking stupid can some people be but its ok they are missing i swear the doors music gives me such a high they really dont now what they are missing out on

  • @fat8622 Your post is absurd! I mean I know where you coming from, but stop saying that's not rock n roll, Fuck rock n roll it's dead time to move on and make new stuff, and leave these kids alone there music sucks, but at least it's from there time. And every band you named is boring and overrated. Stop living in the past and it is not true, again none of those bands were very creative or original.

  • Respond to this video * their

  • @fat8622

Some music is timeless, like this, or the Pistols, or Sabbath, Zeppelin etc.

But really, we are not in a place to put down younger people's music even if it is not your thing. That just makes you your own parents, when you were young. To them, your music sucked too but if your parents were cool, they accepted your choices and respected them.

Keep that mind, and of course give an opinion on what you consider quality; but temper that with the memory of what its like to be young.

  • @RemoteMemory yea but hip hop is just generally awful. no talent no musicianship. And i like rap. i just get bummed when i hear whats on the radio because i know theres no meaning. no reaction to social injustices or a need and call for change which is what started rap. So i have absolutlely no problem being a music snob. I feel that it makes sense. But i do get your point. the only difference is that the tunes parents put down in the 60s or 70s was actually good. except kiss. kiss sucks.

  • @SpontaneousBliss listen to illmatic and come back tomorrow.

  • @fat8622 THE CLASH :)

  • @fat8622

I agree with Linkin Park and Slipknot, but Deftones?? They are fucking genius, dude... But your comment is true though... :)

  • @Brollyhero93TOP10 yeah, in hindsight mentioning Deftones was stupid. "White Pony" is a great album

  • @fat8622 So true. I used to listen to that shit as a teenager and now I'm pretty ashamed to admit it... but, hey, what are you gonna do when all your friends listen to the same tasteless garbage? So glad my ears grew up and found some real music.

  • @johnthejew

I used to listen to Boyz II Men.

Not ashamed to admit it either..

  • @fat8622 deftones are amazing brojas

  • @TheDallyLama : Early Deftones are amazing.

  • @darthray deftones sucks dude, this is the stooges other level

  • @bowiemars lol, Of course The Stooges prevail. Everyone is entitled to their opinions. I only implied the early Deftones was great.

  • @fat8622 dont even get me started im tired of hearing this on old rock videos im 14 and i love these bands. not justthe stooges but lots of classics in fact one of my faves is blue cheer and not many teens today can say that. and that newer shit sucks i agree one hundred percent

  • sax is best part

  • @belsen89,I can take acid and listen to this at the same time without problem, this people were inffluenced by the same rock of the 50s and 60s,only that technology go better, more powerful amps and the music got the break to sound as loud as they want without any trouble.

  • I love this band.

This was way more fucking punk than The Ramones.

    Sounded like Beach Boys.

    Johnny was a conservative.

    Joke band.

  • @manic1eightyseven There's nothing wrong with The Beach Boys or The Ramones.

  • @manic1eightyseven

punks got nothing to do with being liberal it's just a style of music

  • @TheWorthyApes I respectfully disagree, it is based alot on attitude and outlook. The music styles called punk varied much, and quite a few bands had poor musicianship, It was about countering what was the "norm" in mainstream rock music. Eddie Cochran's "Summertime Blues" is punk to me. The Stooges and especially MC5 really bucked the system.

  • Damn, that man is free-jazzing the shit out of that song.

  • this is masturbating my ears...

  • TUGH2!!!

  • 3 people havn't yet visited the fun house and thats why they dont FEEEEEL ALLRIIIIGHT!

  • @conradadams thats cos they suck shit, and have brains in their fucking assholes. probably fucking lady gaga fans anyways

  • i love GBH version called i feel alright but this is better hahaha

  • It's cliche to say this, but this is the the most badass thing ever

  • @LaxATivvz you and the other guy need to ENJOY this fucking music for christ sake. ITS FUCKING IGGY POP ASSHOLES!!!!!

  • 3 people need fuck themselves. =)

  • @MorshuTheFacekicker So true haha

  • Lol, youtube - a place of ignorant, pointless debates.

  • @LaxATivvz What a shame that a great song by a great band is ruined by two IGNORANT MORONS having a pissing contest in the comments. I am in a group on FB that has a weekly music theme. We post videos from youtube and share music with each other that way. But I go through the comments so as not to post anything that might annoy my fellow music lovers. tallswede80 and howoo246, why don't you find somewhere else to do hate each other?

  • Comment removed

  • Also, 3:30

    Random buttsax

  • @LaxATivvz

    Judaism is a race?

  • i can imagine a bunch of riots in Detroit with this son. YOU FEEL ALLRIGHT????

  • WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!

  • I FEEL ALRIGHT!!!!!!!!!

  • the damned - i feel all sounds just like this. why is it not called 1970

  • Tony Hawk's Underground 2 FTW!

  • how come people dont appreciate the stooges anymore? im 15 and i love them

  • i used to hang out with a bunch of hippies and we'd ingest massive amounts of acid and they'd play their typical grateful dead albums all the time, until one night i brought this album over. you should have seen them freak the fuck out. when the sax kicks in here and it starts getting real good one of them puked their brains out, and i had to hear him scream "the stooges made me puke!" the rest of the trip.

  • @belsen89 hahahahahahahahahahahaha

  • @belsen89 I love tripping out and listening to The Stooges! =D

  • @belsen89 sik sik sik..

  • I FEEL LIKE SHIT!

    Good song tough...

  • i feel alright! feel alright! i feel alright! i feel alright too!

  • i never knew they had a song called '1970' but then again I never heard any songs from this band other then '1969' a month ago.

  • THUG2 FTWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @LuisRamirez666 best game ever

  • The drummer is out of his mind here.No doubt a new set of skins every.gig Ashton is on fire -everyone for that matter. The Stooges were considered the heretics of Rock ,but that was messed up .If anything -they were .it's true believers.

  • why do i like this sound so much?

  • @teden20 cos ' it's only rock n roll but I / you like it '

    lol

  • I wish I could make it louder! AAAGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH

  • didn't GBH also cover this song?

  • Love tis one.

    So honest and tough.

  • each time i listen to this i feel like doing a frat party set a couch on fire and throw it off the window long live iggy & the stooges

  • this siog rocks! that saxaphone is unneccessary though! i like the THUG version best!

  • @briantravelman no man saxophone fuckin rocks in this classic song

It gives a sense of madness in this song

  • @ebenezerhagan

that's your opinion. i dont think they shouldve put it over the guitar though. it makes it sound weird

  • @briantravelman saxophone is excellent !!!!!!!!!! 1970 perfection

  • Mtv's too busy showing rapper music videos, pathetic pop rock and punk, My super-sweet 16, and 16 and Pregnant, and too close minded, to show this music.

  • @obsessedwgaming MTV targets the 11-14 year old age group, and mainly the girls. Plus, MTV is run by fucking evil people. It pretends to be progressive, but in reality they are absolute conscious-less bloodsuckers.

  • @hoowoo246 thank you.

  • @hoowoo246

Pushing sex down the youth's throat is what they are acheiving.

These 11 year old sluts are getting out of hand.

    It's sad, because I'm 14.

    And I admit it.

I'm the one who's supposed to like when chicks my age dress sluttly.

    But I don't.

    It's sad, really.

  • @hoowoo246 rob dyrdek is a good role model and hes on mtv

  • @hoowoo246

    AKA Jews.

  • @tallswede80 in this case, probably. but lets not feed the bigots, eh?

  • @hoowoo246

What bigots are you talking about, Sumner Redstone perhaps? In this case, definitely, as in many other cases Jews are the conscious-less bloodsuckers. Sumner Redstone (Born Rothstein, i.e. Jewish) owns MTV and he's a Zionist, anti German, money grubbing sack of shit.

  • @tallswede80 i dont know, maybe the type of bigots who give themselves youtube names like tallblondearyanjewkiller80.

im not a huge fan of jews either (or the jewish personlaity, so to speak). ive found jews to be, judging from person to person, a relatively unlikable people. but i have also met jewish individuals who were wonderful.

there are conscience-less bloodsuckers in every group, including in scandinavians, germans... only jewish people are more honest about their intentions.

  • @hoowoo246

Honest about their intentions? LOL, who's living in a dreamworld... I can't think of any group that is any less honest about their intentions.

  • @tallswede80 hmm.. thats interesting. i am very well traveled and find the israelis to be possibly the most direct group of people in the world. to the point where even a swede could misinterpret an israeli's bluntness for rudeness.

european and american jews, not quite as much, but then they have probably suffered from stockholm syndrome on a widespread level, naturally.

  • @hoowoo246

The problem here is that you, personally, don't actually know what their intentions are, so you wouldn't be able to tell if they were being honest about their intentions. They may seem blunt, but they only seem that way because they are so practiced at being deceptive. I agree that they are very blunt about being ethnocentric and "pro Israel". And very blunt about being anti German and anti Christian. But being blunt about their methods of subversion? Nonsense.

  • @tallswede80 no the problem here is that i am talking about the average jew, and you have in mind a very unique type of person, some sort of jewish criminal mastermind.

  • @hoowoo246

There is no such thing as the "average Jew". That only exists in your mind. What I am talking about, is the fact that the nation of Israel, aka Judah, i.e. the Jewish nation, is, at it's very core, rotten. Any association with it can only be negative. If we're talking about a "good Jew", that has no ill will toward the "goyim", then he is going against the grain and has completely disowned his Jewish heritage, and he is the exception that PROVES the rule.

  • @tallswede80 If the Jewish nation is rotten as you claim, it is because you made it. You white Europeans traveled around the world, and everything you saw you reached out and grabbed. And everything goes to shit in your hands. If the Jew is rotten, you made him that way. Like the gypsy, your other outcaste: you created and defined the Jew.

You Teutons love to kill, because you are all dead inside, you have no real life inside you. Your way of viewing the world makes me sick with anger.

  • @hoowoo246

If the Teutons are as bloodthirsty as you claim, then why have the Jews insisted on living among them in the most parasitic and obnoxious manner for at least 2 thousand years? Why have they been kicked out, en masse from every european country at least once, often multiple times? The answer of course, is that it is the Jew that is the bloodthirsty vampire, not the Teuton. Teutons work the land and build things. Jews and gypsies steal and suck. You've got it backwards, chief.

  • @hoowoo246 you disgust me

  • @xxjerseygirl95xx hmmm....you are a 15 year old girl from jersey. your emotions mean shit to me.

  • @hoowoo246 Thumbs up.

  • @hoowoo246 as The Dead Kennedys said "MTV, Get Off The Air!"

  • Monstrous

  • 2 Faggots ? of course

  • two words: Steve Mackay

  • woooohoo !

  • really love the artwork

  • I don't know if which song to choose given the option of just listening to one song for the rest of my life? 1969 or 1970 decisions decisions...

  • @FrakkingGerk I wanna be your dog

  • Saw The Stooges in Denver right before Iggy turned 60 (I got to dance on stage!), and he played this and said he preferred this to 1969, and I have to agree with him, such an amazing song.

  • BRING BACK THIS KINDA MUSIC!

  • I FEEL ALRIGHT \o/

  • a true masterpiece

  • Does anyone else hear, "Radio Birdman up above," instead of radio burnin'?

  • @LivesUnderABridge

i hear "radio berlin up above" xD

  • @LivesUnderABridge ahahahahahaha

  • @LivesUnderABridge I always thought it said that too. There's an Australian band from the 70's named Radio Birdman who took there name from this song.
