  • As deep and profound as Saul is; he will always miss the mark.

    1. God is more holy than we think

    2. We are more sinful than we think

And in this way so shall we always miss the mark (=sin) when we rely on our own creative spirituality to raise us up to the level of gods-much less The Gods

  • @Seraphimpoet

It means much more than to "RE-THINK" It means to Re-think and also to "Re-do ". To re-think towards re-doing. Your re-doing will show that you are re-thinking. Faith without works is dead; and a persons works speak of the intangible faith that begins with re-thinking, and this is truly a gift from God. Brother Saul is deep though; he probably uses more of his brain capacity than any 5 of us in this forum put together. I don't agree with everything he says but he is fa'real.

  • The christian dogma of inherited original sin in the midst of Gods loving "plan" is evil right to its core.

  • Is this the show he did at CSU? If so I was there!

Anyway just to expound on what he was saying a little bit:

That's what's repent of your sins means if you break down the entomology, "rethink when you miss the mark" as in change your mind and try not to miss next time. Do you ever consider the consequences of missing the mark? In Halo it just means shoot at them again, in the Olympics it's the difference between gold and silver or qualifying or not. In war it means life or death.

  • Many times when Saul recites or talks, supermind and or higher mind enters the scene. This is truth, consciousness, bliss - the satchitananda as a possibility. Evermore I am that I am.

  • that's right! sometimes there's a stream of creative awesomeness blows you away completely

  • _ Watch the entire short film The Confession about an Irish lad who gets more than just penance after confessing his sins. YouTube [dot] com/watch?v=tGl5BnAjmxo

  • exact correction of the obsolete institution of sin.
