  • Correct! I've a CD,recorded April'90@HenryWoodHall,London,released@PhilipsDigitalClassics,barcode 028943209526(Library 432095-2):Soloists,KATIA & MARIELLE LABEQUE,Conducted by SEMYON BYCHKOV,&PHILHARMONIA ORCHESTRA,released'93;Mendelssohn Concerto for 2Pianos/Orchestra in E(3 movements,32'35"),& BRUCH Concerto for 2 Pianos/Orchestra,Opus88a(4 movements,27'53").I think the Bruch much superior to the Mendelssohn-it would have been interesting to have Argerich playing against Arrau..

  • For melodic invention and orchestration, I believe Max Bruch was superior to Brahms. I also believe that this work has been recorded but I don't know who the soloists were. Strange that Bruch never wrote a piano concerto for just ONE piano, though!

  • Finally I see a part of this concert!! It's never played.
