Where's the brutality? The mother called the cops there because she couldn't handle him. If this crazy guy isn't listening or respecting his own mother, then what makes you think he would listen to anyone else? I'm glad they tased him instead of beating him with batons. I think this is just a very unfortunate incident, but I'm not convinced the police are to blame.

Would you run head first into a mentally deranged man, I know I wouldn't. The taser is usually a much safer way to subdue a violent and irrational person. This is just an unfortunate incident. I don't condone police abuse, but it doesn't seem like they had any other options. The mother shouldn't have called the cops.

Even with the taser and pepper spray, several cops were still injured in subduing this guy. Listen, I'm definitely not one to defend police and their abusive tactics, but it sounds like this guy was a real threat. I don't consider tasers as lethal force.
