i think if you do download music you should try to catch the band when/if they come to town and buy a physical copy, or some merch, or buy some merch off the net, at least find a way to donate some bucks to the band. i think in the punk scene especially its hard to locate old copies of stuff like this. im pretty sure this single wasnt re-released by itself, it was in with the comp. they did of Amebix in the 90s. definately donate to your fave bands if you download. up the punks.

yeah, it seems that alot of people just don't get Amebix. Even i didn't think they were that special when i first heard them, yet i kept coming back to them. now i've been listening to them for over a year, and there is something about the heavy, gritty, dark, and unpolished yet epic[ness] of their music that i really like, and that has not been achieved in any other band i've heard. their lyrics are really good, too.
