@CamShaft200 Only a drivers title in 2008 but no Constructors' Championship since 1998... amazing how McLaren are always there fighting for wins and are known as one of the top 2 teams in F1, yet they haven't actually delivered much in terms of championships. Even Renault have a better record over the last 15 years yet no one ever thinks of Renault as a top team like they do of McLaren.

@tehpwnererNL On pure racing grounds, the Alonso/Lewis combination was better. The competitively extreme and aggressive nature of the two drivers had one another, at times, right on the edge of their racing abilities. Had Alonso not folded under the pressure of the weight place upon him by Lewis, F1 may have witnessed several special goings on at McLaren for many a year. I respect Button, he's a great guy, and a wonderfully cool, calm and composed driver. Alonso just happens to be a better one.
