Free energy can change the world! But some very powerfull ppl don't want you and me to be free from energy costs,Get a motor that works with the power of magnets only at LT-MAGNET-MOTORdotCOM ,Start the energy revolution!
The spinners are, basically, horizontal propellers balanced on the point of a pin. Warm air rising vertically from the monitor vents causes the propeller to spin. If they are placed where air is moving vertically downward, like under a ceiling fan or air conditioning duct, they will spin the opposite direction.
No. You can use any relatively stiff material for the vertical support. I recently acquired a matchbox size toy helicopter and replaced the toy rotor blade with one of my spinners. It now sits on top of my monitor and the blade turns like its motor is running.
They work on any device that has warm air rising from it. Things like CRTs, cable boxes, stereo receivers, etc... Some of them have been sensitive enough to spin from body heat. They are similar to a Christmas decoration that uses the heat from candles to spin a large brass or wooden propeller.
I appreciate your interest and would love to sell you one but i don't have the sales process worked out yet (assuming people like yourself might want to buy one or two). When I do I'll post instructions here.
What do you think would be a reasonable price? It takes about 20 minutes to make one.
hahahaha! its kinda like a little pc to monitor radar... ^^

I want one - more like 10 - too! That's so cool that you make it all by hand. It would be an awesome present to give to my coworkers. =0)

maybe 2.50 each, cause it doesn't take much resources to make it.
